Job Description
- Apply Program Management knowledge, skills, tools, and techniques to meet the Program requirements
- In direct consultation with Program staff, plan the appropriate means and methods to complete the required services from inception through to completion
- Organize Program activities per the established mission and goals
- Ensure the assigned workstream is fully supported from a consulting standpoint in an integrated, compliant, efficient, and cost-effective manner
- Create and manage short and long-term Program goals and success criteria
- Develop a budget and an operating and delivery plan for the Program, in consultation with any delivery partners and client
- Determine the required human and material resources to complete the Program successfully
- Formulate a resource allocation strategy and utilize this to distribute work and budgets between our delivery partners
- Exercise authority in managing the work and controlling the delivery of the Program per the operating or delivery plan
- Manage a large team (may consist of multi-firm and client resources) and leverage a diverse array of talents and delegation of responsibilities
- Define the success criteria and disseminate them to involved parties throughout the Program life cycle
- Develop an evaluation method to assess the Program's effectiveness and identify areas for improvement
- Ensure Program goals are met in areas including client satisfaction, safety, quality, and team performance (collectively and individually)
- Implement and manage changes and interventions to ensure Program goals are achieved
- Design various focus and function meetings for Program initiatives
- Facilitate meetings with stakeholders to deliver transparent communication impacting Program issues and decisions on services
- Produce accurate and timely reporting of Program status and performance throughout its life cycle
- Identify and analyze Program risks and implement mitigation strategies and contingency plans
- Review and ensure adherence to the overall operating or delivery plan, scope, schedule, milestones, budgets, quality measures, and KPIs and address issues with corrective actions as appropriate
- Deliver progress reports, proposals, and presentations to various audiences, including the Program team, client executives, key stakeholders, and Operations
- Manage and negotiate scope changes
- Clarify and resolve internal quality control checks and issue
- Build and maintain a positive, high-performing team culture with an openness to constructive challenge, continuous improvement, implementation of lessons learned, and an overall ‘right-first-time” mindset Program
- Monitor and manage clear and focused staff performance objectives (including non-company resources) to ensure overall excellence
- Maintain a Program environment that is inclusive, and diverse and celebrates our differences
- Devise and provide appropriate Program management training to other members of the team aligned with their level of knowledge and Program accountability
- Complete any tasks assigned by Program Management II in an efficient and timely manner

Qualifications
Experience:
- Minimum of 18 years of experience in Project Management
- Knowledge of Program Management best practices
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
- Licenses OR Certifications:
- Holding a recognized Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
Skills and Competencies:
- Extensive understanding of prevailing Project Management methods in addition to tools and metrics needed to evaluate project performance
- Demonstrated functional acumen to support how solutions will address client goals while maintaining alignment with industry best practices
- Proven success in providing project team leadership by building and motivating team members to meet project goals, adhere to their responsibilities, and achieve project milestones
- Must maintain professional development to keep abreast of emerging technologies, methods, and best practices
- Equipped to work independently and as part of a team
- Effective forethought, with the capacity to identify and minimize risks well in advance of them becoming problematic to project delivery and client satisfaction
- Equipped to detect and capitalize on others' strengths
- A proven people leader with strong supervision, delegation, and capacity development experience, capable of leading effective, large, multi-disciplinary project teams
- Accustomed to perceiving and ameliorating conflict and tension
- Capable of working creatively and analytically in a forward-thinking, problem-solving environment, promoting strong leadership, teamwork, innovation and excellence
- Accomplished in the understanding of interdependencies between technology, operations, and business needs
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and Project Management software
- Independently prioritize competing deadlines and risks to the Program Schedule
- Experienced in identifying timely solutions to problematic situations
- Expertise in how to align others who may have conflicting ideas and approaches
- Skilled in relaying (written and verbal) complex ideas in a simplified way
