You are:
A skilled consultant with a passion for developing people and building high-performing workforces. You understand that in the Retail and Consumer Goods industry, continuous learning is essential to keep pace with customer expectations, digital disruption, and frontline workforce needs. You bring strong consulting fundamentals—problem-solving, stakeholder engagement, analysis—and pair them with experience in Learning & Development. You excel at designing learning experiences that drive behavior change, performance, and measurable business results. You communicate clearly, collaborate effectively, and serve as a trusted advisor to clients and colleagues alike.
The work:
Support clients across the Retail and Consumer Goods industry in building future-ready learning strategies that enable workforce transformation.
Design and implement human-centered learning solutions aligned to business objectives, workforce needs, and industry realities.
Develop learning curricula, capability models, and skilling pathways for diverse populations including retail associates, store leaders, supply chain teams, and commercial teams.
Apply learning design methodologies—such as design thinking, blended learning strategy, and learning experience design—to create engaging and impactful experiences.
Support the development of digital learning assets (e-learning, microlearning, simulations, performance support, knowledge management tools, etc.).
Conduct learning needs assessments, capability assessments, and skill gap analyses to inform program design and adoption.
Collaborate with cross-functional client teams to roll out learning programs, enable adoption, and measure impact using learning analytics, KPIs, and performance metrics.
Support learning transformation initiatives such as learning ecosystem modernization, LMS/LXP deployments, and retail field enablement programs.
Contribute to practice and business development through research, proposals, and thought leadership on trends shaping Retail and Consumer Goods workforce learning.
Engage actively in the Talent & Organization community by sharing knowledge, best practices, and insights.
Qualifications
Here’s what you need:
3+ years of consulting experience with a focus on Learning & Development, capability building, or workforce skilling.
Experience working in the Retail or Consumer Goods industry, with exposure to store operations, frontline workforce enablement, or commercial capability building.
Strong consulting skills, including problem-solving, stakeholder engagement, and analytical thinking.
A University Degree is required for this position
English is required for this position as this role will regularly interact with English-speaking stakeholders across Canada. Due to the significant high volume of interactions with these English-speaking stakeholders, which is inherent to this position, it is not possible to reorganize the company's activities to avoid this requirement.

Learning Experience Design (LxD)
Learning Content Development (digital or instructor-led)
Capability Modeling / Skills Frameworks
Learning Analytics and Measurement
Digital Learning Tools (LXP, LMS, knowledge platforms, microlearning tools)
You have experience working with digital tools for learning or capability-building, such as learning automation, skills intelligence, or talent analytics.
You have worked in multi-disciplinary teams across business, operations, and technology.
