THE WORK:
- You'll lead the project controls team, ensuring it is staffed with competent resources and accountable for all scheduling, cost, change, and risk activities.
- You'll establish, maintain, and govern all project control processes to ensure compliance with company and project standards.
- You'll manage overall project cost performance against budgets, develop detailed forecasts, and ensure financial compliance.
- You'll own the master project schedule, overseeing its development, maintenance, critical path analysis, and progress measurement.
- You'll integrate schedule, cost, and risk data to enable holistic project tracking and informed, data-driven decision-making.
- You'll control the formal change and risk management processes, ensuring impacts are assessed and procedures are rigorously followed.
- You'll develop and distribute performance reports, dashboards, and forecasts to stakeholders and present analyses to senior management.
- You'll collaborate with Finance on spend plans, reporting, and adherence to corporate financial policies.
- You'll ensure adherence to project assurance by overseeing health checks, audits, and participating in gate reviews.
- You'll champion continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the entire project controls function.

HERE'S WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Finance, or related discipline.
- 8–12 years of experience in project controls or project management roles supporting large-scale capital, infrastructure, or pharmaceutical projects.
- Expertise in cost control, scheduling (Primavera P6 or MS Project), earned value management, and risk analysis tools.
- Strong knowledge of PMBOK, AACE, or equivalent project management frameworks.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for reporting, presentations, and stakeholder engagement.
- Advanced Excel, Power BI, or other data visualization and forecasting tools.
- Strategic thinker, team leader, adaptable, detail-oriented, and collaborative across functional areas.
BONUS POINTS IF YOU HAVE:
- Masters degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Finance, or related discipline
- Advanced knowledge of cost control, scheduling (Primavera P6 or MS Project), earned value management, and risk analysis tools.

Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in Illinois, Minnesota, California, Colorado, District of Columbia, Maryland, Massachusetts, New York, Ohio or Washington as set forth below.
