You are:
A skilled Data Engineer with expertise in PySpark and Microsoft Azure to help design, build, and optimize modern data pipelines and large-scale data processing solutions. You have hands-on experience with distributed data processing, cloud data engineering, and enterprise-grade data architectures.

Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain data solutions for data generation, collection, and processing.
Develop, optimize, and maintain PySpark-based ETL pipelines running on Azure Databricks or Azure Synapse.
Collaborate with business units and team leads to identify data requirements and design effective data solutions.
Monitor and troubleshoot data quality issues to ensure reliable data delivery.
Document data processes and workflows to facilitate knowledge sharing within the team.
This role will require 3 days per week at the local Mississauga office or a client site located in the Greater Toronto Area.
Qualifications
What you need:
-
2-3+ years of professional experience as a Data Engineer or in a related role

A bachelor's degree or college program, usually in computer science, computer engineering, or mathematics

Advanced proficiency in PySpark

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Azure Data Services
-
Experience with ETL development, data transformation, and orchestration tools

Experience with SQL Optimization and Query Tuning
Bonus points if you have:

Advanced proficiency with Databricks Platform

Experience with Azure DevOps and CI/CD

Databricks Certified Data Engineer Professional (2025) certification

Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate certification
Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location,
role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation, based on full-time
employment, for roles that may be hired as set forth below.

The base pay range shown below is intended as a guideline to reflect the majority of offers for this role.
It does not represent a maximum limit — in some cases, actual compensation may exceed the range where appropriate.
