Role Summary
We are seeking a Quality Engineering Manager with progressive QA and test engineering experience and a proven track record leading teams through modern quality transformations. This role is responsible for building a quality engineering practice that enables faster, safer delivery through automation-first testing, measurable quality outcomes, and disciplined governance.
This role also includes a strong focus on AI enabled quality engineering and Go To Market contribution. You will help shape quality as a product differentiator by enabling release readiness, reliability, and customer trust for external launches, marketing commitments, and strategic programs.
Responsibilities
1) QE Strategy, AI Enabled Quality, and Operating Model
- Define and own the Quality Engineering strategy across multiple product streams or platforms.
- Drive the transition from traditional QA to a modern quality engineering model including shift left, shift right, CI CD integration, and risk based testing.
- Embed AI enabled QE practices such as intelligent test prioritization, automated defect triage, anomaly detection, and AI assisted test generation where appropriate.
- Establish standards for quality governance, including definition of done, test entry and exit criteria, release quality gates, and evidence based sign off.
2) Go To Market Enablement and Launch Readiness
- Partner with Product, Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success to ensure quality readiness for Go To Market launches and customer facing releases.
- Lead launch quality planning for major releases including readiness checkpoints, defect burn down visibility, and release risk communication.
- Provide quality insights that support launch decisions, including what is ready, what is at risk, and what mitigation is in place.
- Build repeatable launch playbooks to support faster and safer release cycles for external commitments.
3) Test Automation Leadership and Engineering Excellence
- Strategizes automation road map and helps in building test strategy across different frameworks/platforms, Knowledge on Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, Appium, Rest Assured, Postman, Karate, or similar.
- Improve regression efficiency by optimizing suites and focusing on high value customer journeys and business critical flows.
4) End to End Quality Across the SDLC
- Lead test planning for major initiatives, integrations, and platform changes.
- Own non functional quality areas including performance, reliability, accessibility, and security collaboration.
- Implement quality practices across design through production including testability reviews, acceptance criteria validation, environment readiness, and data management.
5) AI and Data Driven Quality Insights
- Define and track quality KPIs including escaped defects, defect leakage, automation coverage, and release stability.
- Use data and AI driven insights to identify recurring defect patterns, fragile test suites, and high risk components.
- Establish dashboards for leadership visibility and continuous improvement.
6) People Leadership and Talent Development
- Hire, coach, and develop QE talent across manual, automation, and SDET roles.
- Create role clarity, skill matrices, career pathways, and performance goals.
- Foster a culture of ownership, collaboration, continuous learning, and customer focused delivery.
7) Stakeholder Management and Cross Functional Partnership
- Partner with Engineering Managers, Architects, Product Owners, and DevOps to embed quality early and reduce rework.
- Collaborate with Security and Risk teams to align quality controls with governance and compliance needs.
- Communicate clearly with senior leaders on quality posture, risks, and mitigation actions.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelors or Master degree in computer science or related field.
- 8+ years in QA, test engineering, or quality engineering roles with increasing responsibility.
- 2+ years in people leadership or practice leadership roles (QE Lead, Test Manager, QE Manager).
- Strong experience with test automation frameworks and CI CD integration.
- Experience supporting customer facing launches and release readiness decisions.
- Demonstrated ability to apply AI or advanced analytics in QA workflows (or strong interest with hands on implementation examples).
- Strong communication skills with experience presenting quality posture to senior stakeholders.
Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location,
role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation, based on full-time
employment, for roles that may be hired as set forth below.

The base pay range shown below is intended as a guideline to reflect the majority of offers for this role.
It does not represent a maximum limit — in some cases, actual compensation may exceed the range where appropriate.
