THE WORK:
- You’ll own the Deltek application strategy and day-to-day leadership for I&CP, with primary focus on Deltek Vantagepoint capabilities supporting time/expense, approvals, and operational workflows.
- You’ll set the application roadmap, governance, and operating model for Deltek—balancing business outcomes, risk, controls, user experience, and scalability across I&CP.
- You’ll partner with Finance, Operations, Program/Project leadership, and Shared Services to translate business needs into prioritized enhancements and measurable outcomes.
- You’ll lead and develop a team of functional and technical resources (internal and vendor/partner) to deliver reliable, secure, and compliant Deltek services.
- You’ll oversee requirements, solution design, configuration, testing, deployment, release management, and hypercare for Deltek improvements and new capabilities.
- You’ll champion process standardization and adoption—driving consistent timesheet, expense, and approval practices while improving cycle time, accuracy, and auditability.
- You’ll establish and track KPIs/SLAs (availability, throughput, defect leakage, ticket aging, adoption) and drive continuous improvement using data and user feedback. you’ll manage integrations and downstream impacts to reporting/analytics, ensuring data quality and dependable project/financial insights across the organization.
- You’ll enforce controls around security, roles, segregation of duties, and access management, partnering with security/compliance stakeholders as needed.
- You’ll own vendor management (contracts, performance, roadmap alignment) and ensure partners deliver to scope, schedule, and quality expectations.
- You’ll lead change management—communications, training enablement, and stakeholder engagement—to maximize user adoption and minimize operational disruption.
- You’ll serve as the executive escalation point for Deltek incidents and high-severity issues, driving root-cause resolution and preventative actions.
HERE'S WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
- Have significant experience leading enterprise business applications with direct accountability for outcomes, uptime, and stakeholder satisfaction
- Have strong Deltek domain experience (preferably Deltek Vantagepoint) supporting enterprise time/expense and operational approval workflows
- You’ll bring hands-on leadership in application delivery practices (SDLC, agile/iterative delivery, release management, testing, and production support)
- Have experience demonstrate ability to translate cross-functional needs into prioritized backlogs/roadmaps and deliver value across Finance and Operations stakeholders
- Have experience building and leading high-performing teams and influencing without authority across matrixed organizations. Have strong executive communication skills—able to synthesize complex topics into clear decisions, risks, and tradeoffs
BONUS POINTS IF YOU HAVE:
- Experience in professional services, infrastructure, construction, capital programs, or project-based business models
- Experience establishing application governance, controls, and audit-ready processes for financial/operational systems
- Experience with integrations, master data management, and reporting/analytics enablement connected to Deltek ecosystems
- Proven track record of leading change management, training enablement, and adoption programs for enterprise platforms
