Work to develop strong partnerships with Meta Sourcing, Engineering and Finance teams to build the mid to long term demand planning and forecasting strategies.
Develop an optimized supply plan to support build out of Network, Data Center construction, Artificial Intelligence, and Compute & Storage.
Collaborate with suppliers to get insight into the production capacity, and alternatives for material constraints. Evaluate tradeoff decisions when operating in limited resource environments to source a reliable supply plan.
Utilize forecasting models and related strategies in collaboration with Meta data science engineering teams that incorporate cost optimization, deployment demands, Artificial Intelligence/Generative Artificial Intelligence strategies and various data center and network fabric types.. Utilize what-if planning models (Flexibility simulator) and Planning systems for demand (Oracle).
Utilize planning software to manage supply chain processes.
Collaborate, under Meta’s guidance, with our Enterprise Products and Analytics teams to continually enhance our automation efforts, optimizing efficiency and accuracy in our supply chain operations.
Prepare hardware technical forecasting models that consider various engineering options and collaborate with engineering partners in driving demand trade-offs.
Work with Meta cross-functional partners to identify cost reduction opportunities. This includes strategies such as excess & obsolescence reduction, work with engineering for design for Manufacturing, New Product Introduction (NPI) for design sign-off and transition, holding statistically planned safety stock, and overall building inventory optimization techniques at the rack and commodity level.
Effectively communicate the plan and its commitments across the organization, including up to the leadership level and across various cross-functional teams, ensuring a clear understanding of supply commitments and potential implications.
Support the Integrated Business Planning / Sales and Operations Planning (IBP/S&OP) cycle, ensuring that it aligns with overall business objectives and maintaining a seamless process from start to end.
Work to build strong partnerships with the Meta Demand Planning and Engineering teams to source the latest demand signal
Develop and manage an optimized rack and commodity-level supply plan to support the demand signal. Work closely with Meta Original Design Manufacturer (ODMs) to model production capacity and constraints. Make informed trade-off and allocation decisions when operating in limited material resource environments.
Work closely with the Commodity Planning team by monitoring inventory positions and proposing safety stock adjustments based on risks identified throughout our supply chain.
Effectively source planning-relevant data and information, maintain a high degree of organization, and oversee a dynamic New Product Introduction (“NPI”) process for AI server rack development within a fast-paced and ever-evolving environment.
Utilize Meta’s Clear-to-Build (“CTB”) tool tailored to efficiently manage commodities at various stages of AI server rack production, ensuring seamless supply planning and optimized production workflows.
Utilize Oracle and internal planning tools to manage planning processes. Collaborate with Meta Enterprise Products team to continually enhance our automation efforts, efficiency, and accuracy in our supply chain operations.
Support the development of new KPIs and automated reports to drive business decisions, highlight performance, and identify risks.
Collaborate closely with Meta ODMs located in Taiwan through regular weekly video calls. Monthly Deliverables:
Commodity or finished good demand plan forecast updated and sent to Meta and relevant internal business segment contact. Goal of 100% on time.
Commodity or finished good supply plan updated and sent to relevant internal business segment contact and supply chain operations contact. Goal of 100% on time.
Demand plan generated to achieve minimum 90% feasibility based on supply
Bachelors degree or applicable experience in business (operations, supply chain, finance, economics) or engineering
5+ years of experience in supply chain-related roles. Demand, supply, materials, or inventory planning experience.
Technical and analytical skills. Experience building dynamic models using Google Sheets, Excel (Apps Script, VBA, SQL or Python) and creating data visualizations using Tableau, Google Data Studio, or similar software
Proven communication skills
Proficient using planning tools and ERP software (Oracle, SAP, o9, Kinaxis, Anaplan, or custom build)
Experience in a fast-paced, highly collaborative, and data-driven environment while independently managing projects
Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation, based on full-time employment, for roles that may be hired in British Columbia as set forth below.
