- (Internal title: Construction Management II)
- Inspect Contractor's work to assure it is in accordance with contract plans and specifications, and in accordance with RFIs, submittals and approved changes.
- Assist with site investigations when differing and unforeseen conditions are encountered and with Project Team initiated changes.
- Coordinate with the Project Delivery Team and Contractor to assure that required permits are obtained and in compliance.
- Prepare daily inspection reports and daily inspector photos.
- Monitor the progress of the work and document in the daily inspection report when, where and why progress is falling behind the approved schedule.
- Field verify and Document installed quantities and assist with final quantity reconciliation.
- Inspect temporary silt fencing and other erosion and storm water control measures to assure they comply with the Contractor’s storm water pollution protection plan.
- Attend and assist with progress and coordination meetings.
- Coordinate with testing labs, Project Team and Contractor to assure that required tests and inspections are performed.
- Witness various field and/or factory tests and document results on furnished reports.
- Assist with reviewing pay applications.
- Assist with coordinating the Contractor’s work to minimize and eliminate impacts to the Project Team, public and other stakeholders.
- Assist with testing, startup, and commissioning of new systems.
- Assist in project close-out process.
- Assist Project Team and Engineer with evaluating Contractor claims.
- Proactively review the contract drawings, specifications, site conditions and contractor’s work progress to identify potential problems and assist the Project Team with developing solutions to minimize or eliminate project impacts.
- Assist Project Team with evaluating constructability issues.
- Highly skilled communicator with the ability to form and maintain good relationships internally and externally.
- Strong interpersonal, negotiation and influencing skills.
- Proven management skills with the ability to optimize team performance and development.
- Working Conditions
- Office-based and on-site
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Construction Management in the area of specialty or a relevant role.
- Relevant bachelor’s degree from an accredited university.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in general heavy civil construction.
- Knowledge of all CSI divisions, vertical and horizontal construction.
- Proficiency with reading, understanding and correlating plans and specifications.
- Prior experience with large, capital improvement, public works projects.
- Meet all required or have all required provincial safety training.

- Effective skills in Microsoft Office
- Proficient in relevant construction-related software
- In-depth understanding of prevailing construction means and methods in relevant area
- Ability to arrange priorities and escalate competing risks to meet deadlines
- Keen eye for detail and adept problem-solving abilities
- Must have demonstrated experience relaying and receiving information (written and verbal)
- Equipped to work independently and as part of a team
Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation, based on full-time employment, for roles that may be hired as set forth below.

The base pay range shown below is intended as a guideline to reflect the majority of offers for this role. It does not represent a maximum limit — in some cases, actual compensation may exceed the range where appropriate.
