The work:

We are seeking an experienced Oracle General Ledger (GL) Consultant to support the design, configuration, implementation, and optimization of Oracle Cloud GL solutions. The consultant will work closely with business stakeholders, functional teams, and technical teams to drive key decisions, ensure alignment with financial and accounting requirements, and provide functional expertise throughout the implementation lifecycle.

Key responsibilities:

· Be a part of a high-performing Oracle Cloud Financials configuration team, with a strong focus on General Ledger (GL).

· Lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams; provide guidance and make informed decisions impacting both the immediate team and multiple project workstreams.

· Engage with business stakeholders, functional teams, and technical teams to drive key solution decisions and ensure alignment with financial and accounting requirements.

· Design, configure, and implement Oracle Cloud GL solutions, including chart of accounts structures, ledgers, calendars, accounting configurations, and integrations.

· Troubleshoot complex financial issues and provide scalable, actionable solutions across multiple teams.

· Work hands-on with integrations involving source systems and inbound/outbound interfaces.

· Support month-end activities, financial reporting, and production support, ensuring stability and accuracy of GL processes.

· Role requires two days per week onsite at the local office and travel as required by the client

This is a hybrid role and will require 3 days per week in the Mississauga office.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or completion of a related college program.
• 4–6 years of hands-on experience in Oracle Cloud Financials, with strong expertise in General Ledger (GL).
• Experience configuring Oracle Cloud GL, including ledgers, chart of accounts, financial reporting structures, and integrations with upstream/downstream systems.
• Strong understanding of financial processes, accounting principles, month-end close activities, and reporting.
• English is required for this position as this role will regularly interact with English-speaking stakeholders across Canada. Due to the significant high volume of interactions with these English-speaking stakeholders, which is inherent to this position, it is not possible to reorganize the company's activities to avoid this requirement.

Bonus Points if:

• Oracle Cloud Financials certification (GL).
• Experience with other Oracle Cloud Financial modules and cross-module touchpoints (AP, AR, CM, Projects).
• Working proficiency in French.

Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location,
role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation, based on full-time
employment, for roles that may be hired as set forth below.

The base pay range shown below is intended as a guideline to reflect the majority of offers for this role.
It does not represent a maximum limit — in some cases, actual compensation may exceed the range where appropriate.
