  • (Internal Title: Business System Configuration / Development IV)
  • Power Pages Development and Customization:
    • Design, build, customize, and maintain Power Pages sites and pages connected to Dataverse, Power BI, and SharePoint.
    • Enhance and tailor the Power Pages user experience beyond the default out-of-the-box functionality, using web customization tools (HTML, Liquid, Templates, CSS, JavaScript).
    • Power Apps, Workflow Automation & Collaboration:
    • Design, build, and maintain Canvas and Model-Driven Power Apps connected to Dataverse, SharePoint, SQL Server, Excel, and Dynamics 365.
    • Develop complex Power Automate workflows for approvals, notifications, escalations, and operational processes using conditional logic, parallel branches, and dynamic content.
    • Integrate Power Platform solutions with Microsoft Teams, Outlook, SharePoint, and other Microsoft 365 services to improve collaboration and real-time decision-making.
    • Use custom connectors, APIs, Azure Functions to load, process, or extract data from the Dataverse and developed solutions.
    • Design, build, deploy, and maintain custom PCF Controls and other advanced Power Platform use cases (Ribbon Customization, Auditing, XRM Tools)
  • Data, Dataverse & Dynamics 365:
    • Design and manage Dataverse assets including tables, columns, views, forms, relationships, business rules, security roles, and teams.
    • Support Dynamics 365 and legacy system integrations, data migration activities, and data quality/governance initiatives.
    • Manage solutions, deployment packages, and environments while applying ALM practices across development, test, UAT, and production.
  • AI Application and Integration:
    • Develop use cases and PoCs for the usage of enabled AI tools and capability within the Microsoft Power Platform, including chatbots and AI-enabled workflows
    • Support the design, development, and deployment of production-ready AI use cases within the Power Platform.
  • Azure Data & Enterprise Integration:
    • Develop or support cloud-based data pipelines and integrations using Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Microsoft Fabric, SQL, Python, or PySpark where required.
    • Connect Power Platform solutions to enterprise data sources, APIs, and third-party services to enable secure and scalable automation and reporting.
    • Collaborate with data engineering, architecture, and support teams to ensure solution performance, reliability, maintainability, and governance.
    • Establish and maintain data standards and best practices across Power Platform, reporting, and integration solutions.
  • Stakeholder Engagement, UAT & Support:
    • Partner with business stakeholders, analysts, and end-users to gather requirements, map processes, and recommend fit-for-purpose solutions.
    • Support UAT, training, release activities, and post-deployment support for new and enhanced solutions.
    • Troubleshoot issues, monitor solution performance, and promote continuous improvement through documentation, governance, and ongoing optimization.
  • Analytics Integration:
    • Build and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports that provide timely visibility into capital delivery performance metrics.
    • Support data modelling, DAX development, report optimization, and KPI design to deliver accurate, scalable, and user-friendly analytics solutions.
    • Experience delivering solutions for infrastructure and capital delivery organizations or other complex multi-stakeholder environments.
    • Familiarity with Power Pages, custom connectors, APIs, Azure Functions, or Microsoft Fabric is an asset.
    • Relevant certifications in Power Platform, Power BI/Fabric, Azure, Databricks, or Data Engineering are considered an asset.
    • Portfolio of business applications, automations, dashboards, or data solutions delivered in production environments.
    • Demonstrated experience implementing AI agents is a strong asset.
  • PMIS Implementation Delivery:
    • Lead the day-to-day delivery of the Octave Sequence PMIS implementation.
    • Develop and maintain detailed implementation plans, schedules, and delivery roadmaps.
    • Coordinate project mobilization and onboarding activities.
    • Manage implementation milestones, dependencies, and critical path activities.
    • Monitor project progress and proactively manage implementation risks and issues.
    • Coordinate business readiness, testing, production deployment, cutover, and hypercare activities.
    • Ensure successful transition from implementation into operational support.
  • Implementation Partner Management:
    • Manage the third-party implementation partner responsible for configuring and deploying Octave Sequence.
    • Ensure implementation activities remain aligned with agreed scope, schedule, quality expectations, and business outcomes.
    • Monitor implementation progress, deliverables, and resource performance.
    • Coordinate design reviews, implementation workshops, testing activities, and deployment planning.
    • Escalate strategic issues, delivery risks, and major decisions to the Program Delivery Executive when appropriate.
  • PMIS Product Ownership & Continuous Improvement:
    • Develop and maintain the Octave Sequence product roadmap.
    • Prioritize enhancement requests and future platform capabilities.
    • Lead onboarding of additional projects, business units, and functional areas.
    • Coordinate future software releases, upgrades, and platform improvements.
    • Drive user adoption and continuous improvement initiatives.
    • Partner with business stakeholders to continuously mature the organization's PMIS capabilities and project controls processes.
    • Ensure Octave Sequence continues to evolve alongside organizational project controls maturity and business needs.
  • Project Management:
    • Maintain integrated project plans, implementation schedules, RAID logs, meeting cadences, and project reporting throughout the implementation lifecycle.
  • Solution Delivery Leadership:
    • Act as the primary implementation authority for Octave Sequence, providing guidance on platform capabilities, implementation best practices, configuration strategy, and solution design while ensuring the implementation maximizes standard product functionality and minimizes unnecessary customization.
    • Ensure the implementation follows a structured lifecycle including mobilization, discovery, design, configuration, testing, deployment, and hypercare, while supporting long-term scalability and maintainability. Enterprise implementations are expected to follow a configuration-first philosophy with minimal customization and phased rollout approaches.
  • Stakeholder Coordination:
    • Facilitate workshops, planning sessions, design reviews, and implementation activities while ensuring effective communication across all stakeholders. Escalate strategic decisions, scope changes, and significant delivery risks through the established program governance structure.
  • Technical Delivery Oversight:
    • Provide delivery oversight to ensure all technical workstreams remain aligned, integrated, and executed according to agreed implementation standards and PMIS best practices.
  • Governance & Quality Assurance:
    • Support the Program Delivery Executive by providing accurate implementation reporting while ensuring delivery activities align with overall program governance.
  • Team Leadership:
    • Provide day-to-day leadership by setting priorities, coordinating delivery activities, resolving implementation issues, fostering collaboration, and ensuring successful execution across the implementation team.
  • Working Conditions:
    • Hybrid: this role's work location is primarily based in downtown Toronto but will see some travel to various client sites at key project milestones.
  • 8+ years leading enterprise software implementation projects.
  • 5+ years managing enterprise PMIS or enterprise application implementations.
  • Demonstrated experience delivering or overseeing at least one full lifecycle Octave Sequence (formerly EcoSys) implementation.
  • Strong understanding of Octave Sequence platform capabilities, implementation methodology, configuration approach, security model, reporting capabilities, and integration patterns.
  • Proven experience managing third-party implementation partners and multidisciplinary delivery teams.
  • Experience transitioning enterprise PMIS platforms from initial implementation into operational rollout and continuous enhancement.
  • Extensive experience implementing or managing Project Management Information Systems (PMIS) supporting major capital projects and programs.
  • Strong project management experience across planning, governance, scheduling, risk management, testing, deployment, organizational readiness, and change management.
  • Experience working with enterprise project controls organizations supporting major capital projects and programs.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, workshop facilitation, communication, and leadership skills.
