- (Internal Title: CAD II)
- Create, edit, maintain, and update spatial datasets using ArcGIS Pro and related GIS tools.
- Produce maps, web maps, visualizations, and other GIS deliverables for project teams.
- Perform GIS data QA/QC, including attribute validation, geometry checks, georeferencing, coordinate-system validation, and completeness reviews.
- Digitize infrastructure, project, environmental, construction, or asset information from source materials.
- Prepare and organize GIS data for publication to ArcGIS Enterprise and ArcGIS Online.
- Support the maintenance of feature classes, geodatabases, metadata, and standardized GIS datasets.
- Assist with spatial-data integration from CAD, survey, Excel, databases, field data, and other sources.
- Support Survey123, Field Maps, web maps, dashboards, and other GIS applications.
- Assist with FME, ModelBuilder, Python, or other automation workflows under the direction of senior GIS resources.
- Perform basic spatial analysis, geoprocessing, and data transformations.
- Support field-data collection and validation where required.
- Maintain GIS documentation, data dictionaries, metadata, and process documentation.
- Investigate and correct GIS data-quality issues.
- Collaborate with GIS Specialists, engineers, project teams, and other technical resources.

- 2-5 years of professional GIS experience.
- College diploma, bachelor's degree, postgraduate certificate, or equivalent education in GIS, geomatics, geography, environmental studies, engineering, planning, or a related discipline.
- Hands-on experience with ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online and/or ArcGIS Enterprise, spatial-data editing and management, map production and visualization, GIS QA/QC, and geodatabases.
- Understanding of coordinate systems, projections, georeferencing, attributes, topology, and basic spatial analysis.
- Ability to work with structured datasets and perform detailed quality checks.
- Strong attention to detail and documentation skills.
BONUS POINTS IF YOU HAVE:
- Exposure to FME, Python/ArcPy, SQL, or ModelBuilder.
- Experience with Experience Builder, Dashboards, Survey123, or Field Maps.
- Experience with CAD, engineering, survey, BIM, or infrastructure datasets.
- Previous work in transportation, utilities, construction, municipal, or capital-project environments.
- Experience with Azure, Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, Power Platform, or enterprise data platforms.
- PMP or similar project-management certification.
- Previous experience working in a consulting or multi-stakeholder project-delivery environment.
- Proficient in reading and understanding plans, design sketches, and drawings
- Ability to arrange priorities on multiple tasks and projects and escalate competing risks to meet deadlines
- Equipped to work independently and as part of a team
- Must have demonstrated experience relaying and receiving information (written and verbal)
- Experienced in summarizing and presenting technical information effectively
- Capability to work in a collaborative team team-centric, structured, disciplined, and technology-driven environment
