Our company, AlleyCorp Nord, is a Montreal-based technology hub. We are a high-end boutique consultancy for product development, technology strategy and applied AI research. Amongst our specialties are healthcare, biotech & “deep” tech.

We work with early-stage startups, growth-stage startups, SMEs, and large-scale corporations. Since our inception, we have worked alongside and built software solutions for over 28 different startup companies.

About the role

We're seeking a Full-Stack/ML Software Developer to join our dynamic team and play a role in crafting innovative software solutions for both our organization and our valued clients. This position offers a diverse and challenging mix of consulting projects. As a Developer, you'll find a unique blend of autonomy and collaboration, making it an excellent growth opportunity for your career.

This role is targeting an intermediate to senior level.

Here are the things you’ll own day to day:

• Playing with Software: Digging into the cool stuff like researching, designing, testing, and taking care of software solutions.
• Chatting it Up with Clients: Figuring out what they want and making sure our software fits the bill.
• Being a Quality Guru: Keeping our software up to snuff and making it even better.
• Tech Wizardry: Using the latest tools and tricks to deploy awesome software.
• Getting in the Mix: Jumping into meetings, team stuff, and brainstorming with clients.
• Tech Savvy: Keeping up with what's hot in the tech world.
• Jack of All Trades: Sometimes doing a bit of everything as long as we're all on the same page.

The Ideal profile would have

• 4+ years of professional experience
• Has experience in client-facing roles such as consulting.
• Has solid experience with - Python.
• Experience with CI/CD and Restful APIs
• Has worked on software development around machine learning. The candidate should know the tools for putting an ML model into production and be familiar with ML/MLOps tooling.

We are a remote-first company with office space in Montreal. We prefer to hire in Quebec, but we are open to candidates anywhere in the EST±2 time zone in Canada.
