About the role
Note: This position will be filled at either L-OTH or M-OTH (level 7 or 8), based on experience.
As ATB’s next Program Manager, you will lead initiatives related to Enterprise System delivery, and compliance and regulatory systems and processes in various areas of the business. You will be leading and working with other Project Managers, Agile Delivery Leads, Project Coordinators, Vendors and consultants to successfully deliver the programs, by providing expertise throughout all phases of the Solution Delivery Life Cycle (SDLC). You are an energetic and motivated individual who is highly organized with polished communication skills, and have a proven ability to establish and manage competing priorities, deliver complex projects, and align stakeholders to achieve and measure business outcomes.
Accountabilities
Collaborate with Technology, Business, and 3rd party stakeholders to confirm the problems to be solved, expected outcomes and project deliverables.
Identify and confirm Program approach and engage appropriate stakeholders to develop detailed resource estimates and effective plans to manage the initiative.
Assign deliverables, tasks and activities and continuously monitor and control all associated resources, schedules and plans.
Report on status, risk management, budget/cost, success criteria and reporting as required
Anticipate and effectively manage risks and issues throughout the lifecycle of the initiative.
Ensure optimal communications within and across teams and with all project stakeholders.
Liaise with program stakeholders on an ongoing basis and ensure a strong and positive stakeholder relationship, including internal stakeholders as well as vendors and consultants.
Provide positive team leadership and motivate those teams directly and indirectly involved.
Identify key requirements for cross-functional teams and external vendors
Work with other program and project managers to identify risks and opportunities across multiple projects
Ensure team members are effectively onboarded onto projects
Support planning, preparing, and conducting of project delivery ceremonies
Report key metrics to senior stakeholders
Manage Vendor relationships and deliverables
Skills, experience & requirements
Experience requirements:
7+ years of experience in IT project and program management
3+ years leading cross-functional program teams through the successful delivery of large-scale complex initiatives
Previous experience leading large solution implementations, preferably in the FI or FinCrime space
Project Delivery experience in Data or Financial realms is an asset
Proven experience delivering programs with teams that include internal team members, and Vendors.
Understanding how to navigate processes through the delivery cycle, and manage multiple streams of work is key.
Proven experience managing detailed budgets and program plans.
Proven leadership experience in managing cross functional teams and mentoring junior team members
Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences at the appropriate level.
