As a Portfolio Program Manager, you will support the planning, coordination, and execution of initiatives within Bell Media’s digital product portfolio. Reporting to the Senior Product Portfolio Manager, you will work closely with Product Managers, Product Owners, and other cross functional teams to ensure alignment with the product roadmap and delivery of high-value outcomes. This role focuses on portfolio-level visibility, agile delivery support, and performance tracking – all which help to ensure that product initiatives are well-prioritized, resourced, and progressing toward business goals. Our portfolios contain many program initiatives, some of which include launching new features on our entertainment, sports & news apps, launching new campaigns to increase subscriber numbers and ad revenue, and improvements to our backend technology & processes. Further responsibilities include the management of all vendor contracts pertaining to the digital product portfolio, encompassing activities such as contract planning, review, negotiation, and renewal. Other duties entail overseeing internal audits as the primary point of contact, managing audit related activities, remediation, and stakeholder reporting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with Product Management to define the portfolio vision and scope, including new program initiatives and the development of metrics for evaluating and prioritizing the programs
  • Assist Product Owners and delivery teams by pushing programs forward and removing blockers
  • Track and measure progress, outcomes, benefits, and risks of each program and specific product portfolios using tools such as Jira, Confluence, PowerPoint and other SAAS
    products.
  • Regular communication to stakeholders and the Executive team of the portfolio performance
  • Support agile delivery practices across product teams by promoting consistency in processes, execution, and reporting.
  • Support the contract management activities for all Request for Proposal’s (RFP’s), negotiations and contract renewals
  • Be the single point of contact for internal audits
  • Additional organizational responsibilities include preparing presentations for Town Hall meetings

Critical Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience with agile program / product management and ability to be an effective program manager is required
  • 5+ years of general work experience is required
  • Experience working with product management teams, engineering teams, and external
    vendors is required
  • Experience with contract management is required
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills with attention to detail
  • Effective communicator with the ability to collaborate across teams, push programs forward, and the confidence to escalate when necessary
  • Entrepreneurial drive with a passion for product excellence and partner success
  • Ability to work autonomously with full ownership of deliverables
  • Effective planning, prioritising and organisational skills
  • Jira, Confluence, Excel and PowerPoint experience is required
  • Media or digital product experience is required
  • Jiro experience is a plus
  • Scaled Agile experience is a plus
