| Position Summary | Are you a dynamic and energetic individual? BCIT is looking for a regular, full-time (1.0 FTE) BCGEU Faculty to join the HVAC/Refrigeration Department within the School of Energy. We offer the opportunity to live and work in the beautiful city of Vancouver, the opportunity to interact with key drivers in industry, and the satisfaction of sharing your extensive expertise with our students. The department also offers training and support in developing teaching skills. | Duties & Responsibilities | DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Full-time training in Entry Level for those wanting to enter the Refrigeration Mechanic trade. All levels of the Refrigeration Mechanic Apprenticeship. Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning and Refrigeration programs. Part-time studies and microcredential courses including Canada’s Ozone Layer Protection Program, Interprovincial exam refresher in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning, HVAC for Building Professionals, and more. |
