| Position Summary | BCIT’s Information Technology Services (ITS) Department is seeking a regular, full-time (1.0 FTE) Senior Systems Analyst to join our Infrastructure & Networks team. Working with a wide variety of individuals and teams within and outside the department, you will be part of a team responsible for the research, design, implementation and operation of BCIT’s virtualized environments as it relates to the IT Academic, Administrative and Research agendas of BCIT. This position requires a professional with at least 6 years of intermediate experience in the IT industry. Candidates must have a strong background in Microsoft Hyper-V system administration for a clustered environment, relevant operational and administration tools for a large compute environment of 50+ hosts and 1,500 server, device and container objects in a multi-campus virtual environment. Additionally, the successful candidate will need foundational knowledge of networking, compute farms and SAN environments. |

Applicant must reside and be able to legally work in Canada. The position is 50% work-from-home and 50% on-site at the BCIT Burnaby campus. Some travel to other campuses may be required. |

| Additional Salary Information | Salary prorated based on percentage and term of appointment. Salary based on education, experience and placement criteria as outlined in the Collective Agreement. |
