| Position Summary | BCIT’s School of Energy is seeking four (4) temporary, full-time (1.0 FTE) Faculty to join the Department of Electrical Engineering and Technology at the Burnaby campus. These positions will support delivery across multiple programs, including the Bachelor of Electrical Engineering (BEng), Bachelor of Technology (BTech), Electrical and Computer Engineering Technology (ECET) for Power Option, and Automation and Instrumentation Option. The successful candidates will deliver lectures and laboratory instruction, develop and maintain course materials, evaluate student performance, supervise student projects, and contribute to the effective operation and continuous improvement of the department. As valued members of a team of experienced faculty, candidates will bring strong industry expertise and practical skills to support student success in a hands-on learning environment. | Duties & Responsibilities | DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: The successful candidates will deliver lectures and laboratory instruction, develop course materials, evaluate student performance, supervise student projects, and support the day-to-day operations of the department. The successful candidates will be responsible for meeting course learning objectives, creating a positive and inclusive learning environment, participating in departmental activities, engaging with colleagues, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives, in accordance with the Collective Agreement. The candidate must have experience using electronics laboratory equipment (e.g., power supplies, oscilloscopes, function generators, spectrum analyzers) and a solid foundation in one or more of the following areas: Option 1
