| Position Summary | BCIT’s School of Construction and the Environment is seeking a temporary, full-time (1.0 FTE) Faculty, Ironworker. Ironworking includes placing of reinforcing steel, erection of structural steel and other structural materials such as mass timber and precast concrete, structural welding, post tensioning, construction rigging, and the installation of miscellaneous, mechanical, and ornamental materials. Successful candidates will be able to apply themselves and execute their responsibilities within apprentice and entry-level programs, part-time studies course, industry services courses, and other department initiatives. |
| Duties & Responsibilities | DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
In addition to these duties, a person with the willingness to learn new concepts and address technical developments in their field is a must. The successful candidate will have the ability to motivate students to learn and commit themselves to excellence in instruction. |
