Position Description:

CGI is looking for an experienced senior iWay Developer, for the CRM upgrade development. The position is for a data integration specialist in areas of development and deployment of iWay integrations.

This role is hybrid and requires you to be at our client's office in Scarborough at a minimum 2 days per week - subject to change at any time.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities
• Responsible for building applications and components using iWay
• Responsible for interpreting functional requirements into technical designs for applications built in iWay
• Stay abreast of modern technologies and best practices, and recommend introduction of new technology and processes
• Act as the Subject Matter Expert and manage admin functions for iWay
• Design, develop, implement, and maintain event-driven integration solutions using iWay Integration tools.
• Work on enhancements and project work related to iWay implementation.
• Develop unit test plans and quality assessments.
• Ensure integrity of data through analysis, coding, testing, and problem resolution
• Creation of support documentation.
• Investigate failures, perform root cause analysis, and implement fixes; utilize internal defect tracking tool to create detailed, high quality error report
• Work with product owners and test engineers to support QA processes, review test plans, test coverage and help improve test automation
• Responsible for understanding requirements and transforming the business use cases into building applications for end users
• Utilize problem-solving skills to understand client pain points and troubleshoot as challenges arise.
• Understanding of how to implement solutions with multiple data sources.
• Design end-to-end solutions that improve collaboration, productivity, and knowledge sharing.
• Responsible for estimating work content and achieving planned timelines.
• Multi-task effectively between projects.
• Proficient working in agile project methodologies.
• Adept at leveraging new approaches to solutions for system design and functionality.
• Satisfy requirements, meet agreed completion dates, and perform unit and integration testing.
• Communicate proposed designs and progress on the work to customers, team leads, and team members.
• Support cross-functional project teams consisting of app development, IT operations, and information security.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

Required Skillset
• Knowledge of iWay – Service Manager and iWay – Data Migrator.
• Excellent Analytical abilities, problem solving skills and good communication skills required.
• iWay product experience needed for Service Manager Pro (ISM), Data Migrator, Master Data Center (MDC), Data Quality Portal (DQP).
• 3 + years demonstrated experience working with iWay Development, Administration and channel/service deployment
• Experience with web services integration with iWay
• Specifically integration (ISM)
• Data quality (DQP/MDC) functionality
• Strong Experience with Transact SQL , XML modeling and XSLT,XPATH,XSD and Web services (WSDL, REST, SOAP).
• Experience with Database connectivity (JDBC, JTDC)
• Good knowledge on transfer protocols (eg: FTP,HTTP,S FTP)
• Familiarity with HL7 and IBI HL7 adapter.
• Unix/AIX script experience
• Strong business-to-technology translation skills are essential for identifying ways to apply solutions to help clients increase business value and performance.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication.
• Strong project management skills with strong attention to detail.

Required Experience
• Minimum 10+ years of experience in enterprise systems
• Minimum 5+ years hands-on iWay development experience
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work in cross functional teams
• Experience in agile methodologies like SCRUM/Kanban
• Good verbal and written communication
• Should work with minimal supervision
• Should have good problem solving and analytic
