Sr. Business System Analyst (Capital Market - FX Products)

Position Description:
This role is hybrid and requires you to be at our downtown Toronto (250 Yonge Street) at a minimum 3 days per week - subject to change at any time.
The Business Systems Analyst will help collect the requirements, document them and work with Business, Development and QA Teams to ensure that the requirements are implemented as per the expectations. The candidate is expected to have hands on experience .
Your future duties and responsibilities:
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, define scope, and create BRD/FRD documents.
• Lead multiple high-value projects including platform upgrades, data migrations
• Ensure successful delivery of initiatives by managing Agile / Waterfall methodologies
• Contribute to trade lifecycle management, payment processing enhancements, and compliance with industry regulations
• Organize & present data to business and technical teams
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
Mandatory Skills
• 8+ years of working experience as a Business System Analyst in Capital Markets (preferably FX products)
• Prior experience in building trading applications such as in-house order management systems, pricing and hedging systems, risk management systems, integration with external trading applications such as Bloomberg, FXAll, 360T, etc.
• Prior experience in integrating with back-end book of record (preferably WSS) or payment systems
• Strong experience in leading large-scale projects and collaborating with cross-functional teams
• Understanding of database querying using SQL
• Knowledge of testing strategies, test plans, and test execution
• Self-directed and able to work in an extremely fast-paced environment
• Good spoken & written communication skills; Detail oriented
• Able to function in both Agile / Waterfall environments
• Agile SDLC Tools: JIRA, Confluence, Kanban
Nice to Have:
• Wallstreet FX experience for FX Cash products
• Murex platform experience for Options.
