Senior .NET Azure Integration Developer

Position Description:
CGI is seeking a Senior Azure Integration Developer to design, build, and troubleshoot cloud-native integration solutions on Microsoft Azure. The role emphasizes Azure platform expertise (Logic Apps, Azure Functions, Azure Data Factory, API integration) while leveraging strong .NET skills. You'll work across product, application, and platform teams to deliver reliable, observable, and scalable integrations.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
. Design, develop, and maintain scalable integration solutions using Microsoft/Azure technologies.
. Implement back-end and, where applicable, front-end business logic for new features.
. Build REST APIs and integrate backend services into enterprise solutions.
. Lead and participate in all phases of the Agile software development life cycle.
. Provide technical leadership and mentor junior developers; perform peer code reviews.
. Troubleshoot production issues and lead root-cause analysis for Azure integrations and applications.
. Collaborate with Product Owners, business stakeholders, and other technology teams.
. Support monthly and ad-hoc releases and CI/CD pipelines.
. Create and maintain technical documentation and help define enterprise standards.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
. 7+ years of experience developing full-stack web applications using Microsoft technologies.
. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field — or equivalent experience.
. Advanced proficiency with .NET Core (ASP.NET Core) and C#.
. Hands-on experience designing and supporting Azure integration solutions using Logic Apps (Consumption & Standard), Azure Data Factory, Azure Functions, and event-driven messaging patterns.
. Strong experience troubleshooting and monitoring Azure applications using Application Insights, Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and platform diagnostics.
. Solid experience in REST API development using .NET Core.
. Deep knowledge of Microsoft Azure (IaaS & PaaS) and Azure compute & integration services (Storage Accounts, Key Vault, Service Fabric, containers).
. Experience with Azure Service Bus (queues, topics, subscriptions).
. Hands-on experience with SQL and Cosmos DB.
. Strong understanding of microservices architecture, object-oriented design, SOLID principles, and design patterns.
. Thorough understanding of DevOps practices, automated testing (unit & integration), and CI/CD.
Nice to have
. Experience with Azure API Management.
. Familiarity with Service Fabric development.
. Azure certifications such as AZ-204 (Developing Solutions for Microsoft Azure).
CGI is providing a reasonable estimate of the pay range for this role. The determination of this range includes factors such as skill set level, geographic market, experience and training, and licenses and certifications. Compensation decisions depend on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $65,0000–$125,000. This role is an existing vacancy.
