Location - Downtown Toronto (Hybrid - 4 days office per week) subject to change at any time.

As a Full Stack Developer – Internal Audit Services, you will be a part of building impactful data-centric products, for Internal Audit (IA). In collaboration with cross-functional teams, you will be involved in a variety of challenging assignments as well as networking opportunities.

Your future duties and responsibilities

• Build complex, user-friendly, and maintainable frontends for feature-rich applications
• Effectively communicate technical concepts through oral and written skills across cross-functional groups
• Responsible for every step of the development process from requirement gathering, design collaboration, architecture, and integration with business processes and all related production support
• Responsible for building and supporting data applications from concept to production and maintenance while leveraging existing tools and/or recommending new technologies
  
  

Required Qualifications To Be Successful In This Role

• Deliver intuitive, scalable front-end experiences (80%) and robust backend integrations (20%) for Internal Audit's data-centric products.
• Collaborate with audit, data, and engineering teams to translate complex requirements into secure, maintainable solutions using Vue3/TypeScript, TailwindCSS, and Node.js, integrated with MSSQL-backed services.
• Elevate product reliability and developer efficiency through clean architecture, comprehensive testing, CI/CD, accessibility, and performance best practices.
• 80/20 split Front-end to Back-end
• 2-5 years of experience with Javascript frameworks
• Expert understanding of JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
• Experience building web frontends with TailwindCSS
• Experience working with frontend frameworks such as Vue (preferred), React, Svelte, or Angular
• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, engineering, information systems, or a related field
• Demonstrated knowledge of building and deploying full stack applications, such as a portfolio website or hosted project
• CGI is providing a reasonable estimate of the pay range for this role. The determination of this range includes factors such as skill set level, geographic market, experience and training, and licenses and certifications. Compensation decisions depend on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $80,000–$130,000. This role is an existing vacancy.
