Your future duties and responsibilities
- Required to understand new business requirements, conduct business analysis. Prepare data mapping, technical requirements and perform testing of applications.
- Analyze payment transactional data and provide recommendations to ensure no business/technical data leakage across the systems in the bank.
- Develop in depth knowledge of applications and their interdependences; understand the architecture, payment flows, and optimal configurations of business solutions. Analyze and manipulate large data sets. Continually seek out process improvement opportunities and have full awareness of process controls.
- Demonstrate leadership and partnership skills by interacting with other business and technology teams within organization to solve problems and deliver solutions. Understand, document and interpret complex user requirements.
- The Business Systems Analyst will take a leadership role in working with and liaising with business partners, other Technology teams and external vendors to define the business and technical requirements at the program level.
- Review, analyze and evaluate detailed business and functional requirements, documentation, process flows and data models to contribute to the development of project plans including project charter, project deliverables, timeline estimates, scope and control.
- Develop use cases, define and document user procedures and workflows, and how each class of user interacts with east system function.
- Identify and problem solve for issues that prevent an optimal experience for advocates and customers; ensure Business Recovery Plans are in place.
- Integrate technical solutions with the business environment, recognizing systems design and data interdependencies and reusability.
- Establish appropriate security levels for processes, information exchange and system implementation.
- Define, review and influence standards and quality measures/metrics.
- Assist in the development of conversion and implementation strategies. Conduct pre and post implementation reviews, ensuring all technical solutions have met business requirements. Supports system implementation and production readiness by liaising with change management, IT architecture and desktop standards, and the business.
- Review test plans, test cases and assist testing. Provide user documentation, user training, and post implementation support.
- Collaborate with business leaders, IT professionals, and vendors ensuring that management is kept informed of project status and that problems and issues are escalated appropriately and clearly communicated.
Must Have Skills:
- Strong experience of payment applications - wires processing (SWIFT and FED) with knowledge of ISO20022 standards.
- Strong data analytical skills including SQL.
- Knowledge of reporting tools (eg. Jaspersoft, Tableau) beneficial.
- Self-starter with solid interpersonal skills - projecting a uniquely positive customer-service-oriented attitude.
- Ability to work alone and with other members of a team.

- CGI is providing a reasonable estimate of the pay range for this role. The determination of this range includes factors such as skill set level, geographic market, experience and training, and licenses and certifications. Compensation decisions depend on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $95,000–$145,000. This role is an existing vacancy.
