Position Description:

CGI is looking for an Intermediate Business Analyst

As part of our continued growth, CGI is seeking a passionate and motivated Business Analyst to join a team operating in a complex, global financial environment. In this role, you will play a key part in understanding business needs, designing high-quality solutions, and supporting operations while collaborating with a diverse set of international stakeholders.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

-Collaborate closely with stakeholders in a complex financial environment involving multiple applications and architectures across regional and global platforms
-Gather, analyze, and document business requirements and pain points, translating them into clear and actionable technical specifications
-Provide functional and technical expertise to design, promote, and maintain robust, scalable, and high-quality solutions
-Document system requirements and maintain operational procedures (runbooks)
-Design, optimize, and maintain complex SQL queries and stored procedures
-Define, automate, and execute test scenarios to ensure solution quality
-Work closely with globally distributed development teams
-Understand and incorporate regulatory constraints within financial environments
-Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve functional incidents, ensuring proper tracking and follow-up
-Provide support to end users (Sales, Trading, Front Office, Middle Office, and Back Office)
-Collaborate with development teams on release and deployment activities
-Work with global support teams to ensure high-quality user support
-Deliver tailored training sessions and support user adoption of solutions
-Build and maintain strong relationships with end users
-Support onboarding and training of new team members on processes and IT standards

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

-Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience as a Business Analyst
-Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance, or a related field
-Advanced proficiency in SQL
-Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders
-Experience with financial products, particularly structured finance or trade finance
-Strong balance of technical skills, business knowledge, and interpersonal abilities
-High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
-Proven analytical and problem-solving capabilities
-Adaptability and flexibility in dynamic environments
-Proactive and results-oriented mindset
-Strong team player with a client-focused approach
-Ability to prioritize and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously
-Ability to perform in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
-Fluency in English (spoken and written) is required

Nice to Have
Experience with Loan IQ
-Programming or development skills
-Experience with continuous integration (CI/CD)
-Experience in an international financial IT environment
-Practical knowledge of financial domains (Front Office, Middle Office, Risk, Compliance, Accounting)
-Experience providing support within financial services

CGI provides a reasonable estimate of the salary range for this position. This range is determined based on various factors, including skill level, geographic market, experience, education, as well as professional licenses and certifications. Compensation decisions are made on a case-by-case basis. A reasonable estimate of the salary range for this role is between $60,000 and $115,000. This position is currently open.

Bilingualism (French and English) is required for this position due to the nature of the role requiring interaction with national and global clients.
