Business Analyst - Front Office Rates Systems Support & Evolution

You will play a key role in supporting and evolving Front-to-Back solutions within a data-driven enterprise architecture dedicated to Capital Markets activities. Our Business Analyst / Support community sits at the heart of our value proposition, ensuring operational stability, business alignment, and continuous innovation.
The position is part of the Capital Markets IT (CMI) department of a leading international bank. CMI manages the global information system covering the entire value chain of trading activities. Teams are located across Paris, London, New York, Montreal, Hong Kong, India, and Singapore.
We are looking for a Business Analyst / Operational Support specialist for Rates activities (Linear products), within the Orchestrade team. You will contribute to the evolution, support, and implementation of global Front Office (Orchestrade) and Back Office (Summit) solutions supporting EURO, USD, and Cross-Currency desks.
You will join a multidisciplinary Agile team (Project Management, Development, QA, Support) responsible for the full application lifecycle and will collaborate closely with both IT and business stakeholders across regions.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
-Provide advanced operational support to trading teams on Interest Rate Derivatives (IRD).
-Strengthen the Level 3 support framework following a “You build it, you run it” approach.
-Investigate complex production incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement sustainable fixes.
-Assess and validate the relevance of IT solutions against expressed business needs.
-Design functional solutions in close collaboration with business and IT teams.
-Produce high-quality functional documentation (specifications, user stories, story maps, etc.).
-Define test strategies, coordinate functional validation, and support user acceptance testing.
-Support USD and Cross-Currency swap traders based in New York.
-Implement new products within the systems.
-Set up and maintain new pricing curves.
-Automate and industrialize support and investigation processes.
-Ensure continuous monitoring of production environments.
-Contribute to performance optimization and the long-term evolution of the application landscape.
-Act as a proactive contributor to innovation and continuous improvement initiatives.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
-Degree in Finance, Financial Engineering, or Computer Science.
-Minimum 5 years of experience, including significant experience in application support.
-Strong knowledge of Capital Markets and Interest Rate products.
-Solid understanding of Rates activities: pricing (interest rate curve models) and risk management.
-Good knowledge of booking workflows for Rates activities (clearing, trade lifecycle events, Markitwire workflow).
-Understanding of the regulatory environment in Capital Markets.
-Experience with Front Office booking systems such as Orchestrade, Summit, Murex, Sophis, or Calypso is a plus.
-Experience working in Agile environments.
-Ability to manage dependencies within hybrid Agile / non-Agile organizations.
-Comfortable taking ownership of small-scale Business Analysis initiatives in addition to support responsibilities.
-Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
-Team-oriented mindset with a strong sense of ownership.
-Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
-Ability to work effectively in a multicultural, international environment.
-Clear and effective communication skills.
-Fluency in English is mandatory , French is a plus.
