About the opportunity

Dayforce is currently seeking a Business Process Analyst Principal, reporting to the Senior Manager of Global Office Business Operations. This role is ideal for someone with a passion for continuous operational improvement and data-driven analysis, aiming to enhance effectiveness, drive innovation, and boost operational success.

Responsibilities will range from ensuring smooth day-to-day operational activities through collaboration to conducting in-depth analysis and proposing improvement recommendations. As a key contributor, this role will provide critical information to the organization and its stakeholders, enabling evidence-based decision-making.

By uncovering valuable insights hidden within our systems, the Business Process Analyst Principal will develop and maintain oversight of core process improvement initiatives. This position offers an excellent opportunity to join a fast-growing, innovative organization in a technically challenging and rewarding role.

What you’ll get to do

  • Analyze, map, and redesign business processes to achieve operational efficiency.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and work with stakeholders to implement changes.
  • Develop and monitor KPIs to evaluate the success of process changes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and align on process optimization initiatives.
  • Support the implementation of automation technologies like RPA to streamline workflows.
  • Support and drive strategic program changes by optimizing workflows, implementing process improvements, and aligning cross-functional initiatives to achieve organizational efficiency and innovation.
  • Facilitate workshops to validate requirements and gain buy-in for process changes.
  • Document process changes and creating training materials to support changes.
  • Gain a deep understanding of existing workflows, systems, and dependencies within programs to identify inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement.
  • Apply expertise in HCM strategy, a broad understanding of HCM business processes, strong business acumen with the ability to identify process and policy improvement opportunities

Skills and experience we value

  • Bachelor’s degree in business management or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in process improvement or business analysis.
  • Proficiency in process mapping tools (e.g., Visio) and data analysis platforms (e.g., Power BI).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work across departments.
  • Familiarity with automation technologies and Lean/Six Sigma principles.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong stakeholder management, analytical, interviewing, project management, and creative problem-solving skills
  • Strong team-player with proven ability to effectively work with and influence various business functions within an organization
  • Mastery of Microsoft Office, Visio, Power Point and Excel as well as process mapping and analysis tools (i.e. Power BI).
  • Strong experience with the following software: PowerBI, PowerApps, SmartSheet, Jira, Salesforce
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
