The Work
The Associate Manager, Renewals Administration is responsible for managing a team of Renewals Administrators that facilitate rapid renewals administration through preparation of renewal documents and processing loan renewals while ensuring high accuracy and adherence to the Bank’s established policies and procedures.

The Core Responsibilities!

    • Oversee the day-to-day operations and provide leadership to the Renewals Administration team.

    • Ensure Renewal Administrators are tasked appropriately to complete the day’s activities within service levels.

    • Follow up on staff deficiencies and close all gaps.

    • Recruit, train, and mentor staff. Set targets for staff, provide performance coaching to achieve targets, and conduct performance reviews.

    • Be team oriented, showing a willingness and ability to harmoniously work alongside other Equitable Bank employees, to optimize the customer experience.

    • Foster an environment of continuous learning and improvement, encouraging new ideas and participating in their timely implementation. Support operational efficiency and effectiveness endeavours.

Let's Talk About You!

    • Post-secondary education or equivalent experience financial service industry.

    • Minimum of 3 years’ financial services operations experience.

    • Knowledge of residential lending and renewals practices, related terminology, and provincial and federal legislations.

    • Exhibit sufficient judgment to detect, solve, or escalate problems efficiently and effectively.

    • Ability to handle high-pressure situations with tight deadlines.

    • Excellent oral/written communication, relationship management, and time management skills.

    • Strong leadership, staff development, and conflict resolution skills.

    • Able to perform well in a high volume, high intensity environment.

    • Proficient computer skills including MS Office/

    • Demonstrated ability to compose written correspondence that is easy to understand, grammatically correct, customer service oriented, and representative of the image the Bank wishes to maintain in the industry.

The incumbent will be working hybrid and in office time will be spent working from Equitable Bank’s additional office space located at 2200-25 Ontario Street, Toronto, ON.
