The Work!
Continuous Monitoring: monitor software requests generated by users and process according to the existing SAM workflow within the required service level.
Administration of Software Asset: maintain the record of EQB software assets in ServiceNow to ensure compliance with usage policies, such as accurate record keeping of entitlement, allocation, reclaim and installation.
Collaboration with TWS, Procurement, Vendor & Legal: Work closely with TWS, Procurement, Vendor Management and Legal departments regarding software asset deployment, procurement and compliance.
Administration of SAM Platform: Act as the primary administrator for the existing and new SAM tool(s), managing access, configurations, and updates.
Reporting and Analysis: Generate regular reports on software utilization, compliance, and performance metrics.
Technology Vendor Onboarding: conduct and support vendor onboarding across various systems, ensuring accurate data is entered such as general vendor information and banking information
Contract Lifecycle Management: assist with contract management, renewal, and vendor performance reporting, conduct quality control during contract registration process
Purchase Order Creation: create or assist business users with PO process, ensuring alignment with procuring and financial delegation policy such as approved budget and proper approvers
Invoice Submission: collaborate closely with Accounting/Finance to support invoice validation, reconciliation, and issue resolution
Operational and Financial Data: maintain accurate records in vendor management
Your Experience!
A bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related field or relevant experience
2 years of experience working in a SAM practice or Vendor Management.
Proficiency in Microsoft suite of tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, OneNote).
Experience in Software Asset Management (SAM): understanding of SAM principles, practices, and methodologies.
Technology Infrastructure: Knowledge of IT infrastructure, ITLE including - IT service management, and major change programs. Familiarity with tools such as VMware, ServiceNow, Microsoft Admin Portal, Intune, SCCM, and Azure, is preferred.
Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to analyze complex data and resolve related issues.
Report Writing and Data Analysis: Proficiency in generating detailed reports and conducting data analysis.
Cost Management: Identifying cost-saving opportunities and optimizing resource utilization.
Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication, especially explaining technical details to non-technical stakeholders.
Collaboration and Teamwork: Effective teamwork and collaboration across departments.
