L'usine d'IBM à Bromont est une entreprise de fabrication de haute technologie. Au cours des derniers mois, elle a produit les processeurs qui entrent dans la fabrication de la plus haute gamme des serveurs IBM, soit les systèmes P et Z, en plus de fabriquer différents modules utilisés dans le cadre des télécommunications à travers le monde. Your role and responsibilities
  • Le candidat sélectionné évoluera au sein d’une équipe multidisciplinaire composée d’ingénieurs, de professionnels de recherche et de techniciens dont la mission est le développement et la mise en production de composants optoélectroniques pour des applications diverses.
  • Il participera à l’élaboration et à la mise en œuvre de solutions novatrices dans le domaine de la photonique du silicium visant à pousser les limites actuelles de la technologie d’interconnexions optiques. Une partie du travail est effectuée en collaboration avec la division Recherche d’IBM.
  • Cette opportunité permettra au candidat d’évoluer au centre de recherche du Centre de Collaboration MiQro Innovation (C2MI) à Bromont, dans un environnement à la fine pointe de la technologie, avec un mode de gestion agile des projets.

    Le candidat aura à développer des solutions d’assemblage novatrices qui vont au-delà de la technologie actuelle. Il devra établir une collaboration étroite entre IBM et ses clients ainsi que ses fournisseurs en vue de la création d'un écosystème dynamique.

  • - Baccalauréat, maîtrise ou doctorat en génie physique, en physique, ou dans un domaine connexe lié à la photonique et à ses applications
  • - Connaissances ou intérêt pour l’assemblage de composants photoniques et optoélectroniques
  • - Aptitude à travailler en laboratoire de développement et production
  • - Capacité à évoluer efficacement dans une équipe multidisciplinaire
  • - Excellentes compétences en communication, incluant la rédaction de documentation technique et la présentation de résultats à différents publics (internes, partenaires, conférences), en français et en anglais

Connaissances en conception de circuits photoniques

Expérience en microfabrication ou technologies associées (CMOS, MEMS, photonique)

Bonne connaissance de l'anglais à l'oral et à l'écrit.

The salary range for the position is based on a full-time schedule. Your ultimate salary within this range may vary depending on your job-related skills and experience for this position.

This role involves examination, possession or transfer of controlled goods and technology as defined under the Canadian Controlled Goods Program and ITAR data/technology. To be eligible for employment in this role, you must be a Canadian citizen or Canadian Permanent Resident.
