A career at IBM Quantum means helping shape the future of computing. You will join a team pioneering the world’s most advanced quantum computing platform, software, and research ecosystem. IBM Quantum operates at the frontier of science and technology — supporting researchers, developers, and industry leaders as quantum computing transitions from research to real-world impact. IBM Quantum is seeking a Sales Enablement Lead to further our mission to bring useful quantum computing to the world.

Your role and responsibilities
Your Role

As Sales Enablement Lead, you will own the content, messaging, and educational resources that enable our sales organization to understand, position, and sell highly technical quantum computing offerings to Enterprise, Government, and Research customers. This is a senior role focused on shaping and operationalizing complex product narratives for our global sales organization, ensuring IBM Quantum’s value proposition is clear, compelling, and differentiated across target markets.

Reporting to the Head of Marketing, you will orchestrate the critical touch point between our Marketing, Product, Research, and Client Engagement teams, translating their work into the critical tools and content that our sales team uses to communicate IBM Quantum’s value to potential clients. You’ll work with our partner teams to refine positioning, value frameworks, and strategic narratives, translating them into practical materials that enable confident and consistent client interactions across regions, industries, and varying levels of technical expertise. This role also owns the content layer that prepares clients to use quantum access before a contract is signed, shortening the ramp between purchase and first meaningful project.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Own the enablement content program and strategy, as well as the maintenance of sales enablement for IBM's Quantum Computing portfolio across our global sales organization.

  • Collaborate with Product Marketing, Research Stakeholders, and Product Management to evolve IBM Quantum’s market narrative, thought leadership themes, and value frameworks, ensuring alignment between our strategic positioning and sales execution.

  • Develop, maintain, and distribute high-quality sales assets, including sales pitch decks, value frameworks, competitive positioning, battle cards, and other assets that support effective customer conversations throughout the sales cycle

  • Design and develop structured synchronous and asynchronous enablement content, training materials, and educational resources to improve the sales team's knowledge and effectiveness.

  • Work with our Client Engagement team to deeply understand the needs of our partners, and collaborate on impactful materials to support client readiness.

  • Partner closely with our Product Marketing, Technical, and Product teams to translate new offerings, positioning, and narratives into sales-ready materials and assets.

Required education
Bachelor's Degree
Required technical and professional expertise
  • 6+ years of experience in sales enablement, product marketing, content strategy, or related roles, with direct experience owning sales or marketing content programs at large organizations.

  • Proven success translating highly technical or scientific topics into clear, compelling, sales-ready assets and narratives without compromising accuracy.

  • Demonstrated ability to learn complex technologies quickly and convert technical concepts into business value propositions for diverse customer audiences.

  • Proven track record of building and maintaining content strategies that remain relevant, accurate, and effective in support of rapidly evolving technology products.

  • Experience partnering closely with product managers, researchers, engineers, or technical subject matter experts to develop customer-facing communications.

  • Experience leveraging AI-enabled productivity, content generation, and content management tools to scale sales enablement programs and improve effectiveness.

Preferred technical and professional experience
  • Experience marketing or enabling highly technical products in quantum computing, AI, cloud, semiconductors, developer tools, or enterprise software.

  • Experience creating content for technical buyers, researchers, developers, or scientific audiences.
