The successful candidate will join a fast-paced consulting team. In this role, you will help plan, coordinate, and support the delivery of AI-driven solutions to enterprise-scale challenges. Working closely with senior team members and under their guidance, you’ll learn how technical teams and business stakeholders come together to deliver clear, measurable outcomes.
As a Consultant Intern, you will contribute to problem framing and solving, project planning, requirements gathering, and the preparation of insights. You’ll observe and support client meetings and workshops alongside senior team members, building your client-facing skills in a supportive setting. You’ll also gain hands-on exposure to cutting edge AI technologies while learning to translate business problems into AI solutions.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting requirement gathering to understand, document, and frame business problems, business cases, and pain points
- Leveraging AI tooling to improve internal processes, working models, and deliverables
- Helping synthesize and communicate insights, recommendations, and outputs to the project team, and to clients alongside senior team members
- Supporting project planning, timelines, and deliverables across one or more engagements
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to support alignment between business needs and technical solutions
- Helping prepare presentations, reports, and materials that support client deliverables
- Assisting in identifying opportunities to apply AI and automation to improve business processes
- Helping track project progress and supporting successful delivery against objectives

This opportunity is for a hybrid position, based out of Toronto, Calgary, or Montreal, and is a 4-month work term commencing in January 2027. All applicants must be eligible to work full-time in Canada and enrolled full-time in an eligible post-secondary program. It is mandatory that applicants return to full-time studies upon completion of the work term.
Candidates pursuing Bachelor’s or Master’s degrees are eligible. Please note that MBA and PhD candidates are not eligible for this opportunity.
- Currently enrolled full-time in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Business, Commerce, Economics, or a related field
- Ability to understand business needs and challenges and apply a logical, defensible approach to solving them
- Curiosity and creativity in re-imagining how work is done with cutting edge AI tools
- Sound judgment in using AI responsibly, including verifying outputs for accuracy and protecting sensitive information
- Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly present ideas and insights to peers and team members
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate and build positive working relationships
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage timelines and deliver work with attention to detail

- Working proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel for analysis, report creation, and general productivity
- All locations require fluency in English. Montreal posting additionally requires fluency in French.
- Technology focused or technology adjacent coursework, minor, or program, in addition to studies in Business, Commerce, Economics, or similar
- Familiarity with AI/GenAI concepts (e.g., large language models, prompt design, automation use cases)
- Exposure to structured problem solving (e.g., hypotheses, issue trees) and a habit of checking your own analysis before sharing it
- A passion for innovative ideas, coupled with the ability to understand and assimilate different points of view
- Previous internship, case competition, or project experience in business analysis, consulting, project coordination, or AI
- Demonstrated interest in data, analytics, AI, or automation through academic coursework, student clubs, or personal projects
- Exposure to project management or collaboration tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Trello)
- General understanding of how AI and automation can be applied to improve business processes.
