In this role, you'll work in one of our IBM Consulting FutureNow Centers, where we deliver deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients around the world. Our delivery centers offer our clients locally based skills and technical expertise to drive innovation and adoption of new technology.

Your role and responsibilities

As an Application Architect specializing in SAP Application Development and Maintenance (ADM), you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining SAP applications that align with business requirements and IT strategies. You will leverage your deep understanding of SAP technology, industry trends, and business processes to drive successful implementation of SAP applications.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Design SAP Applications: Develop and maintain SAP applications that meet business requirements and align with IT strategies, utilizing your expertise in SAP technology and industry trends.

• Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work closely with stakeholders to identify business needs, design solutions, and ensure successful implementation of SAP applications, fostering strong relationships and driving business outcomes.

• Ensure Alignment: Continuously monitor and maintain alignment between SAP applications and business requirements, making adjustments as needed to optimize application performance and value delivery.

• Drive Implementation: Lead the implementation of SAP applications, leveraging your technical expertise and knowledge of business processes to ensure smooth deployment and adoption.

• Maintain Expertise: Stay up-to-date with the latest SAP technology advancements, industry trends, and business process innovations, applying this knowledge to continuously improve SAP application design and delivery.

Bachelor's Degree

Required technical and professional expertise

• Expert in S/4HANA ABAP architecture and Fiori configuration
• Strong background and experience in SAP S4 ABAP and FIORI development
• Strong experience in complex SAP projects, RAP methodology and clean core approach
• Experience in technical lead/team lead role
• Experience in S4, Fiori, CVA, SAP ADT and BAS
• Experience in creation and working with SAP authorization objects
• Citizenship in European Union country (no dual citizenships)
• Fluent in German
• Strong consulting/facilitation skills

Preferred technical and professional experience

• Advanced SAP Technology Knowledge: Deep expertise in SAP application development and maintenance, with a thorough comprehension of SAP technology, including its capabilities, limitations, and potential applications.

• Industry Trend Analysis: Experience with analyzing industry trends and business processes to inform SAP application design and development, ensuring alignment with business requirements and IT strategies.

• Technical Leadership Expertise: Deep expertise in leading the implementation of SAP applications, leveraging technical expertise and knowledge of business processes to ensure smooth deployment and adoption.
