IBM is seeking a communications professional with the right experience, expertise and enthusiasm to join the Corporate Affairs team and focus on the Asia–Pacific (APAC) region.
Lead executive communications for the APAC Consulting at IBM, while driving internal communications across multiple diverse countries.
Working closely with the wider APAC communications team the successful candidate will create experiences, in-person and virtual, that engage employees in IBM strategy and help them understand how to apply to IBM’s business and clients' success. The role will be responsible for providing employees with the knowledge, information, and clear calls to action needed to work effectively and deliver business results, while also building their belief in and advocacy for the IBM brand.
The role requires strong writing and communication skills, an understanding of the technology industry (preferred), and the ability to work effectively with senior executives.
The chosen candidate will operate in a flexible and thriving in-office environment, working collaboratively with the marketing, communications, and CSR teams.
- Experience in internal and executive communications planning and deployment - working with leaders on strategy, content development, project management and employee engagement.
- Strong writing and storytelling capability with a passion for breaking down complex topics into consumable, understandable and applicable content.
