As a Field Marketing & Events Specialist within IBM's Technology Zone team, you'll be at the forefront of technical engagement and innovation. Your mission is to drive the adoption of IBM's cutting-edge solutions by creating and managing high-impact field marketing programs, crafting engaging communications, and supporting a global strategic event. This role is perfect for a creative self-starter passionate about bringing technical value to life through compelling storytelling and community engagement.
Key Responsibilities
• Promote IBM Technology Zone offerings via the TechZone Hub, BeeTok and other platforms to increase usage and stakeholder adoption,
• Monitor performance metrics and optimize content placement and messaging,
• Develop and maintain a communication cadence to inform and excite stakeholders,
• Gather feedback and adjust strategies to improve outreach effectiveness,
• Provide logistical and communication support for 2025 TechXchange labs,
• Assist the IBM Technology Zone events & engagement lead with projects, as assigned.
• Strong writing and communication skills, including comfort with technical content,
• Able to apply various marketing and communication strategies,
• Ability to measure, analyze and report on engagement impact,
• Extremely organized and able to manage multiple projects at once,
• Experimentative, is quick to pilot ideas whether they succeed or fail; able to scale what works,
• Is passionate about people – we value a focus on relationships over experience.
• Comfortable communicating with various levels in the organization – peers, managers, Executives, Technical Sellers,
• Strong analytical skills, and meticulous attention to detail,
