Your mission as a Automation Brand Sales Specialist will be to drive end to end sales execution across the entire Automation portfolio with a focus on winning the platform. You serve as the customer's strategic advisor to translate the customer's requirements into the right Technology architecture, in context of use cases and critical technology decision points, driving revenue growth.
As a Brand Sales Specialist you'll work closely with clients to develop relationships, understand their needs, earn their trust and show them how IBM’s leading solutions will solve their problems whilst delivering value to their business. Your primary responsibilities will include Client Management and Value Definition: Effectively manage client relationships, define IBM's value proposition, and engage key decision-makers. Sales Process Management and Collaboration: Oversee the entire sales process, with a focus on expanding new business opportunities, and collaborate closely with various IBM teams.
• Automation Platform Solutions Knowledge: Experience with a range of Automation Platform solutions, including Cloud Pak for Applications, DevOps, and WebSphere Application Server, with the ability to identify and create new sales opportunities.
• Technical Product Knowledge: Exposure to products such as Cloud Pak for Integration, DataPower, and WebSphere Service Registry/Repository, with an understanding of how they can be leveraged to meet client needs.
• Sales Cycle Management: Experience with progressing opportunities through the sales cycle, building relationships with clients, and driving sales efforts to ensure timely closure of deals.
• Industry Trend Awareness: Familiarity with industry trends and competitor activity, with the ability to stay up-to-date and maintain a competitive edge in the market.
• Solution Delivery Collaboration: Experience working with internal teams to deliver Automation Platform solutions that meet client needs, with an understanding of how to leverage knowledge of products to drive solution delivery.
