As a Brand Technical Specialist for the Power & Cloud Portfolio, you will apply your sales and product expertise to close business for IBM, often in conjunction with Business Partners. You will develop and maintain expertise in a designated set of IBM offerings to match IBM solutions to client requirements. Your primary responsibilities will include:
• Develop Sales Strategies: Develop winning sales strategies to counter competition and drive business growth. This involves understanding client needs, identifying opportunities, and positioning IBM offerings to meet those needs.
• Match Solutions to Client Requirements: Work closely with clients to understand their requirements and match IBM solutions to meet those needs. This may involve collaborating with Business Partners to deliver tailored solutions.
• Maintain Expertise: Develop and maintain expertise in a designated set of IBM offerings, staying up-to-date on product features, benefits, and applications.
• Sell IBM Offerings: Sell IBM offerings directly to clients or through IBM Business Partners, leveraging your expertise to drive business growth.
• Collaborate with Business Partners: Work collaboratively with Business Partners to identify opportunities, develop sales strategies, and deliver solutions to clients.
• Power Systems & Cloud Product Knowledge: Experience with IBM Power Systems line of offerings & IBM Cloud, including product features, benefits, and applications.
• Sales Strategy Development: Experience with developing winning sales strategies to counter competition and drive business growth, including understanding client needs and positioning IBM offerings.
• Solution Matching: Experience with matching IBM solutions to client requirements, including collaborating with Business Partners to deliver tailored solutions.
• IBM Offering Expertise: Experience with developing and maintaining expertise in a designated set of IBM offerings, staying up-to-date on product features and benefits.
• Direct Sales Experience: Experience with selling IBM offerings directly to clients or through IBM Business Partners, leveraging product expertise to drive business growth.
• Competition Analysis Expertise: Experience with analyzing competition and developing effective counter-strategies to drive business growth. This involves staying up-to-date on competitor offerings, identifying market trends, and positioning IBM solutions to meet client needs.
• Business Partner Collaboration: Experience with collaborating with Business Partners to identify opportunities, develop sales strategies, and deliver solutions to clients. This includes building strong relationships, communicating effectively, and driving joint business growth.
• IBM Offering Customization: Experience with customizing IBM offerings to meet specific client requirements, including tailoring solutions and developing targeted sales strategies.
