In this role, you'll work in one of our IBM Consulting Client Innovation Centers (Delivery Centers), where we deliver deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients around the world. Our delivery centers offer our clients locally based skills and technical expertise to drive innovation and adoption of new technology.

Your role and responsibilities

As an Application Developer specializing in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and implementing solutions aligned with functional design documents. Your expertise will ensure the delivery of high-quality applications while maintaining best practice methodologies. Your primary responsibilities will include: • Technical Design and Specification: Create detailed technical designs and specifications for Dynamics Finance and Operations solutions, ensuring alignment with functional design documents and best practice methodologies. • Solution Development: Develop functionalities for Dynamics Finance and Operations solutions, adhering to technical designs and specifications, and collaborating with cross-functional teams as needed. • Testing and Documentation: Perform thorough testing of developed solutions, identify and resolve issues, and maintain accurate documentation of solutions and processes. • Application Migration and Upgrades: Participate in application migration and upgrade projects, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations and maintaining data integrity. • Data Migration: Assist in data migration activities, ensuring data accuracy and consistency across systems.

Required education

Required technical and professional expertise

• Technical Design Expertise: Experience with creating detailed technical designs and specifications for Dynamics Finance and Operations solutions, aligning with functional design documents and best practice methodologies. • Solution Development Skills: Experience with developing functionalities for Dynamics Finance and Operations solutions, adhering to technical designs and specifications, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. • Testing and Documentation Knowledge: Experience with performing thorough testing of developed solutions, identifying and resolving issues, and maintaining accurate documentation of solutions and processes. • Application Migration and Upgrade Experience: Experience with participating in application migration and upgrade projects, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations and maintaining data integrity. • Data Migration Understanding: Exposure to data migration activities, ensuring data accuracy and consistency across systems.

Preferred technical and professional experience

• Microsoft Dynamics 365 Implementation: Exposure to implementing Dynamics Finance and Operations solutions, with knowledge of best practice methodologies and technical designs. • Data Integrity Management: Experience with ensuring data accuracy and consistency across systems during data migration activities. • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Exposure to collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and deliver Dynamics Finance and Operations solutions.
