Our people are focused on accelerating our clients’ businesses through the power of collaboration. We believe in the power of technology responsibly used to help people, partners and the planet.
We’re looking for a curious, analytical, and people‑oriented intern to join IBM’s Salesforce practice in a Consulting and Go‑To‑Market (GTM) internship role. This position is ideal for someone interested in business analysis, sales operations, consulting, and technology enablement — with opportunities to explore a long‑term career in Salesforce and digital transformation.
As an Intern, you’ll work closely with both our Consulting and GTM teams to support sales processes, client deliverables, internal operations, and readiness activities. You’ll gain real exposure to how IBM designs, delivers, and communicates Salesforce solutions that help organizations transform the way they serve their customers, employees, citizens, and partners.
What You’ll Do
- Support consulting and GTM activities, including research, preparation materials, and operational coordination
- Assist in creating presentations, reports, demos, and Salesforce-related assets for internal and client use
- Conduct industry, account, and competitive research to support consulting engagements and sales pursuits
- Help prepare client-facing materials, such as user stories, process flows, and solution overviews
- Work with cross-functional teams across sales, delivery, and technical groups to understand how Salesforce solutions are brought to life
- Learn how Salesforce technology supports digital transformation and build foundational skills in CRM, business analysis, and consulting
What We’re Looking For
- Curiosity & analytical thinking — you enjoy understanding business problems and asking thoughtful questions
- Strong organization — able to manage multiple tasks and keep consulting/GTM workstreams moving
- Interest in business + technology — especially how platforms like Salesforce enable organizational transformation
- People-first mindset — enjoys collaboration and supporting both internal stakeholders and clients
- Clear communicator — able to synthesize information, present findings, and articulate ideas clearly
- Growth mindset — excited to learn, adaptable, and open to exploring careers in consulting, sales operations, and business analysis
- Flexibility in commuting — able to travel to IBM and client sites for in-person collaboration as needed
Why This Role?
This is more than an internship. You'll gain hands-on experience in consulting, business analysis, sales operations, and GTM strategy, while learning Salesforce fundamentals and working with teams invested in your growth. If you're excited about technology-enabled problem solving and curious about a career in consulting or Salesforce, this is the perfect place to start.
This position is open to applicants who reside in Toronto and is a 4-month internship work term, commencing in September 2026. It is mandatory that all applicants are enrolled in full-time studies at a post-secondary institution and returning to full-time studies upon completion of their work term. Regular travel to the office and client sites is required, and the individual is expected to commute and be available for in-person collaboration as needed.
