Salary for the candidate will be determined taking into consideration a number of factors including: experience, skills, qualifications, anticipated contribution to role, internal equity, etc. The salary range presented below is based on a 35-hour workweek and would represent a majority of different candidate profiles. However, we encourage candidates who may fall outside of this range to apply as well.

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Marketing Partnership Specialist with a business development background to join our team for a temporary 12-month assignment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and managing strategic relationships with various partners to support our company's growth objectives and digital ambitions. This role requires an in-depth understanding of partnership dynamics and the ability to operate effectively in fast-changing environments. This position reports directly to the Director of App Adoption at Intact.

What you'll do here:

  • Partnership Strategy: Define internal partnership opportunities in collaboration with marketing and digital teams, and identify high-potential segments and partners.

  • Partnership Development: Prospect and establish new strategic partnerships with a clear and compelling value proposition that supports our objectives and vision.

  • Contract Negotiations: Collaborate closely with the procurement department to negotiate the terms of partnership agreements, ensuring they are mutually beneficial and aligned with business objectives and internal requirements.

  • Relationship Management: Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing partners by maximizing mutual value and proactively anticipating and resolving any issues or conflicts that may arise.

  • Internal Coordination: Work closely with internal teams, including marketing, product, and IT, to ensure effective implementation of partnership initiatives.

  • Performance Analysis: Track and analyze the performance of partnerships using key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure success and identify growth opportunities.

  • Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports on the status of partnerships and the performance to management.

  • Innovation and Trends: Stay informed about industry trends and best practices, proactively bringing new and innovative ideas to improve partnership portfolio, relationships and outcomes.

What you bring to the table:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, management, or a related field.

  • Over 10 years of proven experience in business development, partnership management or a similar role.

  • Experience in procurement, contract negotiation and contract management.

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Strong ability to persuade and influence partners and senior leadership.

  • Resourceful and proactive, able to bring structure to ambiguity in a dynamic environment.

  • Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Demonstrates initiative in a dynamic environment.

  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment, effectively managing multiple projects and priorities simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines.

  • Intellectual curiosity and goal-oriented, constantly seeking new knowledge and ways to achieve excellence.

  • For candidates located in Quebec, bilingualism is required considering the necessity to interact on a regular basis with English-speaking colleagues across the country.

  • No Canadian work experience required, but must have authorization to work in Canada.
