Salary for the candidate will be determined taking into consideration a number of factors including: experience, skills, qualifications, anticipated contribution to role, internal equity, etc. The salary range presented below is based on a 35-hour workweek and would represent a majority of different candidate profiles. However, we encourage candidates who may fall outside of this range to apply as well.

About the role
Our team is seeking an Associate Product Manager II to support the development of high-value new features within our mobile applications. You will collaborate with a dynamic team of designers, Business Analysts, and developers whose mission is to deliver innovative solutions to our customers that complement their insurance products. This large-scale project, enjoying strong executive visibility, is an exceptional opportunity to truly make a difference for our customers and communities across the country!
What you'll do here:
Product roadmap and strategy: Contribute to the product vision and strategy; support prioritization and roadmap development for a feature or sub-domain under supervision. Frame problems and trade-offs by providing practical analyses that inform strategic discussions. Adapt existing ideas to the product’s needs with moderate guidance; begin independently validating ideas through experiments with Design and Engineering.
Delivery and execution: Deliver features with minimal defects; improve project management and quality assurance skills with limited supervision. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Design, Engineering, Research, Marketing, Operations) to ensure alignment and drive effective product launches.
Research: Partner with the Research team to request and interpret research methods and findings; progressively apply the insights to the product roadmap with increasing autonomy. Define key performance indicators (KPIs) for features; work with analysts to create reports, set realistic targets, and extract actionable metrics from business tools and data.
Business impact: Develop features that capitalize on business opportunities, ensuring the delivery of tangible value aligned with company objectives. Connect feature outcomes to company-level metrics; support basic revenue/cost tracking with guidance.
Stakeholder management and communication: Take initiative and manage stakeholder expectations with moderate supervision. Communicate updates and feedback clearly and effectively to ensure shared understanding of project goals and timelines. Build initial relationships with leadership and contribute to maintaining alignment and engagement within the team.
What you bring to the table:
Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
At least 3 years of relevant experience
Agile experience in Scrum
Experience and knowledge in the insurance domain is an asset
Experience and knowledge of applications in a mobile and native environment
Ability to thrive in an exploratory environment. Most high-value features will be first-of-their-kind and will require blazing a trail for Intact.
Proficiency with JIRA and Confluence
Bilingualism (French and English) - Need to interact regularly with colleagues from across the country.
No Canadian work experience required however must be eligible to work in Canada.
