94,200 - 115,200

Salary for the candidate will be determined taking into consideration a number of factors including: experience, skills, qualifications, anticipated contribution to role, internal equity, etc. The salary range presented above is based on a 35-hour workweek and would represent a majority of different candidate profiles. However, we encourage candidates who may fall outside of this range to apply as well.


About the role

Nous sommes à la recherche d’un Conseiller technique, Indemnisation lignes spécialisées Dommages matériels, pour se joindre à notre équipe Transporteur et maritime !

En tant que Conseiller technique, vous serez responsable de la gestion des dossiers de réclamations complexe, notamment les dossiers litigieux en responsabilité civile (dommages matériels), cargo, contamination, bateau de plaisance et pertes aux États-Unis. Vous allez également supporter techniquement les experts en sinistre en leur apportant votre expertise et en leur dispensant des formations.

Lieu de travail: Laval, Montréal, Québec ou St-Hyacinthe

Ce que vous accomplirez chez nous :

  • Participer à l’analyse des dossiers complexes, notamment en ce qui concerne la recevabilité, la responsabilité, le règlement, les stratégies et les négociations en vue d’un règlement.

  • Offrir un règlement juste et équitable en prenant en considération les normes et règles de l'entreprise ainsi que les législations en vigueur selon l’endroit du sinistre.

  • Offrir du soutien technique auprès des experts en sinistre dans les dossiers de réclamations au niveau de l’interprétation des polices, la négociation de règlements, la détermination de la responsabilité et la judiciarisation d’un dossier.

  • Participer à l’élaboration de divers supports de formation technique et dispenser des formations à l’ensemble des experts pour soutenir le développement de leurs compétences.

  • Possibilités de formation croisée avec Intact Specialty Solutions sur les principes et pratiques américains.

  • Examiner les audits mensuels afin d'identifier les possibilités de coaching.

  • Collaborer avec l'équipe de direction pour évaluer les résultats des campagnes de surcoût et créer des plans d'action.

  • Établir et maintenir des relations d'affaires productives avec les unités de souscription, de contrôle des risques et d'autres unités opérationnelles.

Ce que vous mettrez à profit :

  • Diplôme d’études collégiales ou universitaires

  • Détenir un permis 5a valide auprès de l’AMF.

  • Au moins 7 ans d’expérience en indemnisation, de préférence en transport et maritime.

  • Connaissance sur le processus juridique et état de droit.

  • Des connaissances techniques en transports, cargo, contamination et de la responsabilité civile.

  • Fait preuve de solides compétences en matière de résolution de problèmes et de gestion des priorités.

  • Être titulaire ou en voie d'obtention d'un titre de professionnel d'assurance agréé (PAA) est un atout

  • Bilinguisme. Nécessité d’interagir sur une base régulière avec une clientèle anglophone et des collègues partout au pays
