Salary range (but not limited to):

118,700 - 145,100

Annual bonus target, based on the base salary, with a potential payout of up to double the target (subject to personal and company performance):

Salary for the candidate will be determined taking into consideration a number of factors including: experience, skills, qualifications, anticipated contribution to role, internal equity, etc. The salary range presented above is based on a 35-hour workweek and would represent a majority of different candidate profiles. However, we encourage candidates who may fall outside of this range to apply as well.


About the role

As a Manager, Digital Product, Acquisition at Intact Lab, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our e-commerce strategy to drive our outperformance. You will lead a talented Product Management team and work in close partnership with actuarial teams, design and data science to deploy strategies to convert most profitable leads into sales and drive growth through increased profitability.

What you'll do here:

As Manager, Digital Product, Acquisition, you will play a critical role in defining and executing strategies to increase sales profitability in the digital channel in Personal Lines for auto and home insurance. Reporting to the Director, Product and Design – Acquisition, your main responsibilities will include:

  • Lead, coach and inspire a multidisciplinary Product Management team (Product Managers and IT-Business Analysts).

  • Lead your team in understanding business needs and customer needs to streamline the quote process through clearer options and more accurate pricing, effectively driving sales and premium growth that best reflects customers’ risk profile.

  • Lead the digital roadmap with your team to expand digital e-commerce capabilities, while working at the intersection of product, design and actuary, and ensure close alignment across all sales channels including digital, direct to customer and broker distribution.

  • Foster a “product-mindset” and strong experimentation culture to validate product outcomes in close collaboration with your team members, data analytics, actuarial teams, design, and user-research.

  • Build and foster alignment across stakeholders around the strategies, execution, and plans to operationalize the roadmap for all our brands.

  • Collaborate with other management members to implement strategies, set goals and performance indicators, coordinate deliverables across the shopping path and sequence dependencies.

  • Conduct recruitment and mentoring initiatives, one-on-one meetings, performance reviews, and individual career development planning.

What you bring to the table:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, e-commerce, product management, or any equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • At least 10 years of relevant experience, with more than 5 years in Product Management roles in the insurance industry, particularly in e-commerce. Experience working closely with actuary teams is an asset.

  • At least 3 years of experience in managing professionals.

  • Strong leadership skills with a track record of successfully creating an experimentation culture and developing high-performing teams.

  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across diverse teams.

  • Strategic thinker with the ability to translate complex ideas into actionable plans.

  • Proficiency in data analysis and the use of analytics to drive product decisions.

  • Passion for innovation and a relentless drive for excellence.

  • Experience with Agile Scrum development methodologies.

  • For candidates located in Quebec, bilingualism is required (French and English): Need to interact on a regular basis with colleagues across the country.

  • No Canadian work experience required however must be eligible to work in Canada.
