Who You Will Work With:
The vacant IAM Security, Specialist role will report to the Leader, Infrastructure Engineering.
The Identity and Access Management (IAM), Specialist is responsible for how users at Interac Corp. will be provided access to networks, systems and applications. The IAM analyst is responsible for managing user lifecycle following established operating procedures and processes and in compliance with Access Control policies and standard. As a member of a growing and dedicated Cyber Security team, the analyst works closes with other members across IT Operations, Infrastructure and Platform teams including partner suppliers to ensure Operations is running and running securely. This role is critical in ensuring that timely resolution of access requests and will also interface with various departments to establish and document access profile standards.
In this role, you are working with the various teams to maintain security posture of the organization. You want to know as much about the state of the environment as you can, and you can think outside the box when it comes to proposing solutions which will benefit the enterprise.
What You Will Do:
Manage identity, accounts and permission in leading industry Identity Governance and Administration (IGA), Privileged Access Management (PAM), Secrets Management and Customer Identity and Access Management (CIAM) solutions
Support security projects related to application integration and onboarding of assets to the IAM/PAM solution.
Work with different teams to complete prerequisites for asset onboarding.
Work within the security team and other parts of the organization to refine and introduce new processes and services with efficiency.
Responsible for writing and maintaining access management and control Standard Operational Procedures (SOPs).
Responsible for the day-to-day operations of access request, provisioning and administration processes (ensuring access is provisioned/modified/removed accurately and in a timely manner).
Responsible for execution and enforcement of logical access controls, as part of access request, provisioning and administration processes.
Respond to user account and access issues in timely manner and troubleshoot issues related to application administrator function.
Coordinate and work with Level-2, Vendor, Infrastrucure teams if in depth troubleshooting is needed.
Meet SLA requirements for user requests. Respond urgently to critical issues.
Participate in change activities related to the solutions managed by the IAM team and work on application admin tasks.
Perform QA tests related to basic IAM use cases after patching, upgrades, hardening changes that can affect application performance.
Participate in account discovery, asset scan and function testing as part of the project implementation work
Monitor inbox for alerts related to objects in PAM solution and troubleshoot issues identified.
Responsible for execution of the access certification, Segregation of Duties (SoD) / exception reporting, and remediation processes and corresponding access controls, as defined by the Access Control Operational Processes and Procedures.
Perform the day-to-day operational responsibilities related to IAM including single sign-on, authentication/MFA, identity governance, privileged access management, and secrets management.
Working with Infrastructure and Operations teams to enforce security standards of Interac Corp.
Participate in Security Incident Management activities as Application Security support, level 1.
Provide on-call support for incidents.
Lead or contribute to the planning and execution of projects to build IAM capabilities.
Stay current on the cyber security threat landscape, including the latest approaches to IAM and related domains.
What You Bring:
You have a degree/diploma or combined relevant work experience and certifications (3-5 years) in Information Systems, or related field.
Solid understanding of Active directory permissions and groups.
Knowledge of multiple other infrastructure platforms such as MSSQL, Oracle, DB2, UNIX, WINTEL, is an asset.
Experience in PowerShell scripting and automation
Experience with ticketing applications like ServiceNow and Jira.
You can demonstrate experience in Information Security. Knowledge of identity and access management principals is required.
Experience in Identity Governance and Administration, Privileged Access Management, Secrets Management solutions, Cloud Identity Provider is an asset
Previous experience with successfully supporting variety of different systems as part of a Help Desk/Service Desk or another similar team is an asset.
Experience in advancing continuous improvement agendas including process documentation is an asset.
Familiar with Information Security Control Policies and industry standards (PCI, ISO, NIST)

Ability to acquire secret clearance (Canadian Citizen or permanent resident for at least 5 years)

The hiring range for this position is $72,000 - $85,000, and you will also be eligible for our short-term incentive plan. The exact amount will depend on factors such as skills, experience, and job-related knowledge, but Interac’s commitment goes beyond compensation.
