Who You Will Work With:

The vacant Program Management, Lead role will report to the Leader, Agile Practice and will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of strategic programs and initiatives within Interac. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with business objectives, drive operational efficiency, and deliver high-quality results on time and within budget. The ideal candidate will have exceptional leadership abilities, strong project management skills, and a proven track record of successfully managing complex programs in a fast-paced environment.

What You Will Do:

  • Leading the planning, execution, and delivery of strategic programs and initiatives, ensuring alignment with business objectives and stakeholder requirements.
  • Defining program scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with key stakeholders and team members.
  • Developing and maintaining detailed program plans, timelines, and budgets, and track progress against milestones and KPIs.
  • Partners with Business Owners, Product Managers and Product Owners to help assure strategy, vision and road map alignment and execution.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams and resources, including internal and external stakeholders, to ensure effective communication, collaboration, and execution.
  • Driving alignment and organizational, leadership and team preparedness for planning events
  • Identifying and mitigating risks, issues, and dependencies that may impact program delivery, and proactively implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance program management processes, methodologies, and tools.
  • Providing regular updates and reports to SLT and key external stakeholders on program status, progress, and key metrics.
  • Fostering a culture of accountability, transparency, and innovation within the program team, promoting collaboration and knowledge sharing.

What You Bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, engineering, computer science, or a related field; PMP/PgMP certification considered an asset.
  • Proven experience as a program manager or lead, with a minimum of 10+ years of experience managing complex programs and initiatives, from initiation to closure.
  • Strong project management skills, including the ability to develop and maintain detailed project plans, budgets, and timelines.
  • Excellent leadership abilities, with a track record of successfully leading cross-functional teams and driving results in a matrixed organization.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization and with external stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address issues proactively and develop creative solutions.
  • Experience with program management tools and methodologies (e.g. Agile, Scrum, Kanban, Waterfall), and project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, JIRA).
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities with competing deadlines effectively.
  • Strong commitment to quality, excellence, and continuous improvement, with a passion for driving operational excellence and delivering value to stakeholders.
  • Must be eligible to work for Interac Corp. in Canada in a Full Time Capacity

The hiring range for this position is $135K-175K base and you will also be eligible for our short-term incentive plan. The exact amount will depend on factors such as skills, experience, and job-related knowledge, but Interac’s commitment goes beyond compensation.
