The Global Customer Success (GCS) organization, an organization within CE&S, is leading the effort to enable customer success on the Microsoft Cloud by harnessing leading, AI-powered capabilities and human expertise to deliver innovation solutions that accelerate business value, drive operational excellence and nurture long term loyalty.
As part of Microsoft Customer Experience & Success (CE&S) with over 17000 employees worldwide, the International Customer Success Organization (iCSU) mission is to incubate, deliver and scale world-class customer success services for Microsoft’s most strategic, innovative, complex, and globally operating customers.
Join our expanding and culturally diverse iCSU team as Cloud Solution Architect (CSA) for App Innovation and help us build a future where customers come to us not only because we provide industry-leading products and services, but also because we provide differentiated and connected customer experience.
The CSA is a customer-facing role, and you will own technical relationship between the customer and Microsoft for the most innovative projects, helping customers to leverage their Microsoft investments through platform thinking, architecture design across technologies, hands-on development of PoCs, implementation support, and solution optimization engagements. and you will join our passionate, collaborative, and innovative team of experienced App Innovation CSAs in India who are looking forward to welcoming you in the fast-paced and dynamic Era of AI. This role is flexible in that you can work up to 100% from home.

Qualifications
Required/Minimum Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field AND 9+ years’ experience in cloud technologies, information technology (IT) consulting/support, systems administration, network operations, software development/support, technology solutions, practice development, architecture, and/or consulting
o OR equivalent experience.
• Experience in building and deploying complex large-scale solutions on cloud infrastructure.
• Demonstrated experience in as many skills given below.
o Proficiency in one or more programming languages like .NET, Java, Python etc.
o Microservices based architecture.
o Containers, Kubernetes and AKS
o Events and Integration services like Azure Service Bus, Event Hub, Event Grid, Logic Apps etc.
o PaaS compute Services like App Services, Azure functions etc.
o DevOps in GitHub , GitHub Copilot
Additional/Preferred Qualifications
• Business Value: The ability to convey the business needs and value of proposed solutions, plans, and risks to stakeholders and decision makers. This includes the ability to persuade and inform based on facts and alignment with goals and strategy.
• Trusted Advisership: The ability to build trusted advisor status and deep relationships across stakeholders (e.g., technical decision makers, business decision makers) through an understanding of customer needs and technologies.
o Situational fluency: Using self-awareness as a mechanism to interpret verbal and non-verbal cues to increase your ability to "read the room."
o Insightful listening: asking insightful questions to understand the customer needs, issues, business environment and drivers, and going beyond what customer has said.
• Several years of experience working in a customer-facing role (e.g., internal and/or external).
• Several years of experience leading technical projects.
• Certifications in Cloud (e.g., Azure, Amazon Web Services, Google), CKA, CKAD etc.
Responsibilities
As a Cloud Solution Architect (CSA), your key responsibilities will include:
• Technical Leadership: You will lead the technical strategy and architecture discussions with our high-potential customers, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of their technical requirements and alignment with Azure''s capabilities.
• Solution Development: You will develop detailed proposals and plans for cloud service consumption and deployment, focusing on Platform as a Service (PaaS) solutions.
• Customer Engagement: You will engage with customers to understand their business objectives and technical landscape, providing expert guidance and support throughout their cloud adoption journey.
• Technical Architecture: You will design and implement secure, scalable, and resilient technical and security architectures within Azure, influencing the migration approach and executing proof of concepts when necessary.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: You will work closely with sales, engineering, and support teams to ensure a seamless customer experience and the successful delivery of Azure solutions.
• Continuous Learning: You will stay abreast of the latest cloud technologies and industry trends, continuously enhancing your skills and knowledge to provide innovative solutions to our customers.

• Apply technical knowledge and architecture frameworks to design solutions that meet business and IT needs, create roadmaps, drive hands-on POCs and MVPs, and ensure long term technical viability of new deployments, infusing key AI technologies where appropriate.
• Cloud and customer success business growth – Help customers get the best possible value from their cloud and customer success investments. Intentionally seek opportunities for clouds business expansion and help scope, and shape new customer success contracts.
• Resolution of customer blockers - identify resolutions to customer blockers by leveraging intellectual property (IP), Microsoft recommended practices, subject matter expertise, and your network.
