Microsoft’s Cloud business is expanding, and the Cloud Supply Chain (CSCP) organization is responsible for enabling the infrastructure underlying this growth including AI! CSCP’s vision is to empower customers to achieve more by delivering Cloud Capacity Differentiated at Scale. Our mission is to deliver capacity for all cloud services predictably through intelligent systems driven by continuous learning and a world class organization. The CSCP Organization is responsible for traditional supply chain functions such as Plan, Source, Make, Deliver, but also manages supportability (spares), decommissioning and disposition of Data center assets worldwide. We deliver the core infrastructure and foundational technologies for Microsoft's over 200 online businesses including Bing, MSN, Office 365, Xbox Live, Skype, OneDrive and the Microsoft Azure platform for external customers. Our infrastructure is comprised of a large global portfolio of more than 200 datacenters supporting services for more than 1 billion customers in over 90 countries worldwide.

You will be part of exciting journey of Microsoft Cloud Planning (MCP), India Centre-of-Excellence (CoE), making an impact on Cloud Supply Chain by working on Data Analytics & Governance Charter for Planning domain. Your experience in areas such as Operations, Business Insights/Analytics, Data Mgmt & governance, KPI/Metric development, Data Quality Framework implementation will be leveraged. You will be faced with problems ambiguous in nature and will need to think creatively and practically to develop effective solutions to address them. You will interact closely with fellow data analysts, Ops PMs, Engineers, Leaders, Cross-Functional teams and other stakeholders within Cloud Supply Chain (CSCP)

Required/Minimum Qualifications
Masters or Bachelors' Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Analytics, Data Science, Engineering, Computer Science, Business, Economics or related field.
9+ years experience in data analysis and reporting, data science, business intelligence (PowerBI/Power Platform), Advanced querying or business and financial analysis or equivalent experience.
Proficiency in Data Analytical / Engineering technologies & skills (PowerBI/Power Platform), Advanced querying/Analytical tools, Big Data/Azure Data Stack or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in the supply chain, related product/technology, business administration or engineering field (prefer Masters).
  • Working experience in Demand Forecasting/Planning related analytics.
  • 9+ years' experience in the Supply Chain Data/BI/Analytics.
  • Proficiency in Data/Business intelligence engines (Big Data Tech, SQL, Power BI, Power Pivot, Tableau) are highly desired for this role.
  • Data and Analytical Skills- Are you able to identify themes and leanings out of data? Define the essence of a function and measure its success. Provide KPI that are clear to understand and can drive decision making. Are you able to generate data visualization for practitioner's use leveraging large data handling skills?
  • Results - Are you a doer who can span from strategic thinking to getting stuff done and consistently delivering? Ultimately ensuring capacity availability at the right cost and minimal surprises or churn.
  • Communications and influencing; Can you build relationships and influence people - from execs to individuals, across business and technical disciplines? Are you equally adept at leading cross-functional meetings or building rapport and personal connection in 1X1 conversation.
  • Excellent collaboration and partnering skills are essential. Great collaborators aren’t just easy to work with- they also raise tough questions, challenge others as necessary and negotiate with/win solutions

Responsibilities

Engage with business requestors in driving BI/Data Analytics need to Run/Transform the business - Partner with product engineering, supply chain, finance, data center ops, cloud server hardware and networking teams to ensure all functions act in alignment with common goals.
Collaborate stakeholders from Intake to Delivery cycles Identify process, tools and systems improvement opportunities and drive improvement and transformation efforts to improve data/analytics maturity - Apply advanced analytics concepts toward rich insights and key financial and strategic decisions - Simplify/Rationalize/Automate the assigned domain data towards proactive/predictive insights.
