Overview

We provide a suite of AI Azure services designed for both cloud and edge (on-premises) environments. While these services are managed from the Azure public cloud, the AI processing is executed on the customer's on-premises infrastructure. Examples for such services in Azure AI are Video Indexer and Azure AI search service, based on RAG (Retrieval Augmented Generation). The Edge-RAG platform is designed to operate on customer enterprise servers, ensuring data privacy and residency by keeping data on-premises. For each service, we manage dependencies both internal and external to Microsoft, ensuring seamless integration and collaboration across various teams and stakeholders.

We are looking for a Senior Technical Program Manager (TPM) who is passionate about technology, user experience, and customer success to join the Edge AI workloads team in Azure. As a Senior TPM, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of our products by integrating principles and collaborating with cross-functional teams. Your role will involve managing complex projects, understanding and addressing dependencies, building the strategy and ensuring that our solutions meet the highest standards of quality, security and user satisfaction.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields.
  • 6+ years of experience in product management, preferably in software or AI-related products.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment.
  • Passion for learning and staying up-to-date with industry trends.
  • Technical background (such as coding or defining APIs).
  • Experience in growth, product marketing, or customer success roles

Responsibilities

  • Customer and Partner Success: Understand customer needs, build code samples, and collaborate with other Microsoft groups such as field, business development, finance, business planning, and product marketing
  • Vision and Strategy: Define the vision and strategy for RAG products based on market insights and stakeholder guidance
  • Feature Development: Partner with technical teams to define and deliver new features, guided by user stories and success metrics.
  • User-Centric Design: Improve the user experience by acting on user feedback.
  • Analytics and Performance: Define and track OKRs, measure and track product performance using analytics, focusing on user adoption.
  • Collaboration: Align product efforts with cross-functional teams to meet business objectives.
