We are looking for a Software Engineer II to join our team. You will be part of a dynamic and agile group dedicated to innovation by learning, exploring and building working code. In this role you will have the opportunity to contribute to high-impact innovations. This may be transforming concepts to reality by building prototypes or helping to take our ideas to production. You will have the chance to tackle challenges up and down the tech stack. Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 2+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python
- OR equivalent experience.
- 2+ years experience working on complex applications or backend systems development.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 2+ years experience with React or systems services development/integrations.
- Experience working with large codebases
- Experience in systems integration
- Exhibited self-motivation
- Enthusiastic about learning and developing software
- Interested and excited about AI
- Passionate about learning and building software
Software Engineering IC3 - The typical base pay range for this role across Canada is CAD $85,000 - CAD $166,800 per year.

Responsibilities
- Collaborate with team members to drive innovation.
- Works with appropriate stakeholders to determine requirements for a feature.
- Supports identification of dependencies, and the development of design documents for a product feature with oversight.
- With guidance, learns to create and implement code for a product, service, or feature reusing code as applicable.
- Assists and learns about breaking down work items into tasks and provides estimation.
- Develop software using languages such as TypeScript, JavaScript, React, and others.
