Overview

The Enablement & Operations (E&O) team enables Microsoft Customer and Partner Solutions (MCAPS) Team to better serve every person and organization’s transformation and economic success. How? We design, build, and manage the levers that accelerate commercial growth—including compensation, business performance and insights, planning, skilling, and tooling and engineering.

The MCAPS E&O Revenue Operations team empowers every person in MCAPS to serve customers by activating and innovating the Microsoft commercial revenue engine. We are seeking a strategic and collaborative leader to serve as Director, Commercial Planning, responsible for orchestrating the global Fiscal Year (FY) Planning process and driving alignment across MCAPS commercial priorities.

In this role, you will lead the MCAPS planning community across core and regional teams and serve as a key leader within the E&O Planning team. You will own the end-to-end FY planning journey—from retrospectives to landing the strategy at MCAPS Leadership Summit —ensuring clarity, cohesion, and timely execution. Your work will bring structure to planning milestones, shape key narratives, and guide stakeholders on what’s happening, what’s next, and what’s due.

This role requires business acumen, sound judgment, and operational excellence. You’ll thrive in a dynamic environment that values integrity, collaboration, and a growth mindset. Key capabilities include program and change management, executive communication, and organizational planning. You’ll also lead a strategic reassessment of current workflows to identify impactful opportunities for AI transformation, partnering with Revenue Operations (RevOps) and E&O subject matter experts (SMEs) to drive measurable outcomes. This position offers a unique opportunity to influence how the business operates end-to-end and to enhance your leadership impact across MCAPS.

We welcome your application!
