The Global Investment team
within CGM is seeking a Senior Manager, Global Investment, with data analytics and media campaign planning background. This person will contribute to the team’s success in delivering media investment excellence through shared understanding of demand generation tactics; evaluating media performance leveraging diagnostic KPIs and offline signals; and elevating insights, optimizations, and reporting with the immediate and to the leadership teams.

Qualifications

Required/Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Analytics, Data Science, Engineering, Computer Science, Business, Economics or related field AND 4+ years experience in data analysis and reporting, data science, business intelligence, or business and financial analysis
    • OR Master's Degree in Mathematics, Analytics, Data Science, Engineering, Computer Science, Business, Economics or related field AND 2+ years experience in data analysis and reporting, data science, business intelligence, or business and financial analysis
    • OR equivalent experience.
  • +2 years in demand generation and performance media for gaming, retail, entertainment and or subscription services preferred (analytics or media activation)
  • Create on-demand reporting dashboards on Fabric (PowerBI) and Sprinklr (skills in other data visualization software could be transferrable such as Fabric and Azure Data Explorer)

Additional or Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Analytics, Data Science, Engineering, Computer Science, Business, Economics or related field AND 8+ years experience in data analysis and reporting, data science, business intelligence, or business and financial analysis
    • OR Master's Degree in Mathematics, Analytics, Data Science, Engineering, Computer Science, Business, Economics or related field AND 6+ years experience in data analysis and reporting, data science, business intelligence, or business and financial analysis
    • OR equivalent experience.
  • Familiarity in Marketing Mix Modelling (MMM), Multi-Touch Attributions (MTA), and other advanced model-based attributions to support media’s impact on business revenue
  • Experience in media activation at scale (for brands or accounts +$10M annually)
  • Experience in creating Pivot tables, visual charts and graphs, data slicers in Excel and also, for presentation in PowerPoint
  • Ability to spot data trends and perform regression analysis and other statistical modeling in Excel to support insights (or through the use of Visual Studio Code and Python)
  • Experience in web or organic social analytics is preferred (Google, Adobe, Sprinklr, Skai)
  • Organized and independent, individual contributor with solid communication skills

Data Analytics IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $106,400 - $203,600 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $137,600 - $222,600 per year.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and gather media performance of key campaigns including Game Pass, Xbox, and Xbox Game Studios titles using Sprinklr, PowerBI, and native dashboards such as Google, Meta, TikTok, Amazon, Snapchat, Reddit, Skai, and more.
  • Ability to create and or integrate in templated reporting that’s accurate, in-context, and data-backed for executive reporting
  • Assist Strategy and Activation teams with insights and data findings from campaigns at an ongoing basis that aligns with goals and outcomes
  • Understand key performance indicators for media and how they impact campaigns and goals
  • Maintain benchmarking and media databases that’s accessible and can be incorporated into other large datasets for future advanced analytics projects
  • Input into long-term brand lift measurement roadmaps (unaided awareness, familiarity, action-intent) and tracking for media campaigns
  • Competency and dedication to data hygiene, fidelity, and cleanliness
